Palm Valley Conservatory is a prestigious boarding school; for centuries, only wealthy and notoriously famous families were allowed to attend. However, all that changed when gifted student Melina Delacruz was invited to participate in the school. Melina is from a middle-class family, and her father runs a bodega shop passed down from her great-grandfather. Melina was content with what she had and didn’t care about not having fancy clothes or driving the most trendy car. However, when the students at Palm Valley learned about her “poor” background and torn-out shoes, Melina became the target of bullies.
Soon, Melina finds herself failing her class and is about to lose her chance to study at Palm Valley. Melina meets The Misfits, a group of students who are outcasts for being gay and disabled and trying to set their trends and rules. As The Misfits’ leader Koen Odom invites her to join, without hesitation, Melina agrees. Soon, the group began to find small gigs performing secretly, but when famous and spoiled, Ainsley Manning saw them performing at an underground gay club. Ainsley threatens to tell them—The Misfits’ members know if Palm Valley Board Of Education were to find out, they could kiss their scholarships goodbye. So, Can The Misfits band together and stop Ainsley from revealing their secret? Or Will Ainsley Manning dare to tell, wants to keep Palm Valley Conservatory strictly for people of her kind?
