Poem

I was sitting there on the park bench
Going through some of my worst times
Cried and cried since noone was looking
Didn’t know that it was for some piece of happiness.

You came there
Found a girl alone with sadness all over her face
Neither did you know that I was going to be your ’first love’.

Thought you were about to ask help
So put a fake smile on
Which had been a habit for some time
But the smile came was real.

You looked at my face like you’ve known me before
You became astound and nervous
Sat near me hiding it
But you didn’t realize that I saw it.

Asked me something
I replied with a smile
Said it was nice meeting me and would see me again
Little did you know that I was going to be in your life.

Walking back home,I did not know what happened
I was going through some of my worst times
It was hard to put up a smile
But it came by its own after I met you.

You were handsome
You were intelligent
You were kind and caring
But I felt something more and deep when I met you.
