*Two months later*

The first day. Daunting to say the least, joining a group of agents who are like family to each other and spend virtually 90% of their time with one and other. But MJ had spent the whole of her life fighting for an opportunity like this and she wasn't about to waste it, even though her nerves wouldn't let her think straight. Awaken with The Scientist by Coldplay bright and early at 6am, MJ rolled out of bed and put on some coffee and while it was brewing, she looked around her surroundings in a daze, it didn't feel real, to be finally safe within a place she called home and yet here she was.

The coffee machine light shone green telling her, her delicious beverage was ready. She hastily poured herself a small amount in a mug with sugar and no milk, chugged it and threw the remainder of the coffee in the coffee pot into a thermal travel mug. She then went on a 45-minute run round her building and the local park before realizing it was 6:50 and she only had 40 minutes till she was due at the BAU, so she ran back to her building and quickly showered and washed her curly 3b hair. She magically managed to dry her hair and get dressed by 7:20, secretly thanking her ADHD wired brain for reminding her to pack, her satchel, her go bag and her outfit the night before just in case. By 7:25 she was out the door (coffee, satchel and go bag all in hand) and into the extremely large Quantico FBI building.

Her FBI id had been issued to her 2 weeks ago just a couple of days after her 16th birthday as well as her badge and gun. The gun was a big issue to get approved, no one in power wanted to hand a gun to a 15-year-old girl, especially one that had been screwed over by the court system they upheld. So, they voted on her receiving a government issued handgun providing she got her licence through the FBI but only after she passed all necessary tests and only after she turned 16. She passed all tests with flying colours and was issued her gun as well as a gun safe at Quantico's main gun safety office.

Her lonely elevator ride was quiet and nerve wracking, *shit* she muttered as she realised, she hadn't taken her ADHD meds this morning. But the frustration washed away as she realised, she had put them into her go bag just in case. Grabbing the Adderall filled pill bottle from her bag she placed a pill in her mouth and swallowed it down with coffee and as if on cue the doors swung open to reveal the glass doors that led Bullpen. She slowly made her way through the doors walking through the empty array of desks and straight into the team leader's office, Aaron Hotchner, knocking twice before receiving a welcoming yet stern *come in*.

MJ walked into the office in which Hotch gestured to the seat Infront of his desk so she sat and introduced herself, *good morning agent Hotchner, I do apologise but I'm not really one for handshakes*, a small smile breaks out onto his face that would not be noticeable if you weren't looking, *nothing to apologise about Dr Grey, and please call me Hotch the rest of the team do*.

MJ smiles slightly at the recognition of her tittle, *only if you call me MJ, I don't really use that title among colleagues*, hotch nods and glances back at his computer before stating, *well its official you are the youngest ever FBI agent throughout the whole agency and as much as I would like to get to know you more unfortunately we have a case and I still have to introduce you to the team, so if you wouldn't mind following me to the briefing room, bring your go bag*, MJ nods replying *yes sir* as he got up and started to walk out the room with MJ trailing behind him.

The room was already filled with what MJ could only assume was the rest of the team, there were seven people in there looking at hotch and her, some with excitement and curiosity, some with indifference, *before we start this briefing I would like to introduce the newest member of our team, Dr Mia Jade Grey* he starts to point at people and recite their names *MJ, this is SSA David Rossi, SSA Emily Prentiss, SSA Derek Morgan, SSA Jennifer Jareau, Dr Spencer Reid, Dr Alex Blake and our technical analyst Penelope Garcia*.

Garcia is practically beaming at you, as you look round at everyone, *hi everyone, you can all call me MJ I don't really ever use that title, and I also apologise In advance because I don't really do handshakes, sorry*, MJ takes a seat right next to Alex as she hears people muffling their laughter, its Emily and Derek, and just as she is about to ask what's funny, Rossi intervenes stating *ignore these two idiots, they believe you are a Reid 2.0 due to your aversion to handshakes*.

Derek holds up both his hands grinning at you, *hey man, we don't mean it in a bad way but common guys aside from her hair and eyes look at her, she's wearing a suit with converse, has a satchel and is now the youngest and smartest one on the team. Doesn't that remind you of someone a few years ago? *, by this point everyone was smiling even spencer, hotch seems to realise how off track the conversation had gone and decided to intervene, *I don't want to stop getting to know our new agent but were on a clock, so if you wouldn't mind, Garcia*.

Garcia stands up and starts to present the case, *ok my people you are headed to Florida, there is a Serial killer running rampant, with a very specific type. Five victims found in the same woods. No apparent connection aside from they all have curly short brown hair and brown eyes. * MJ and the team talk through the victimology, neighborhoods, occupations, hobbies, travel history, and more. Before everyone hears four words, *wheels up in 30*...........
