he bodies just outside the queen facility required every ambulance bus available in Manhattan city and some from other parts of New York. The scene was prioritized with every forensic team, and first responder available to help decipher and clean up the mess.

Having taped and blocked off the outskirts of the facility, they were free to work without outside vehicles coming in. However, it did not stop the mob of men and women having gathered behind the yellow lines to ask questions and take pictures. 

The mortuary had the biggest job of all, identifying the deceased, and revealing their cause of Death. There were too many for the entire city’s morgue to take on alone. so half of the bodies were shipped upstate to New Jersey. who also was having an issue with the number of cadavers rolling in.  

In Manhattan, a senior mortician and his assistant wheeled in the first dozen of men that had been slaughtered in the same fight. 

Once the body was placed on the table, the bag was unzipped. Revealing the torn and battered body. The examiner began his verbal evaluation.

“We will Begin with the outer layer of clothing, The subject is entirely clothed in black, a Teflon vest and a chrome face mask that’s Velcroed to his head. Every item listed has been damaged in some way, torn cracked and burned”.

“Removing the mask the subject appears to be a male maybe mid-thirties, clean shaven, slight discoloration. “ “Removing the vest and outer clothing we find long lacerations that have been cauterized along the abdomen and chest, heavy bruisings around the abdomen and chest, the fifth sixth and seventh ribs on the right side are broken “

“From the lacerations …are orange-colored fungi and short strands of vines. Anywhere the male has been seared, something grows from within the body. I would have to start examining the internal to understand but moving on with the external evaluation. there is an amputation of the entire left arm, Shrapnel in the left quadricep exits the hamstring “

“Opening the chest cavity is more difficult, having to cut through roots? Small vines growing from the damaged organs. I can confirm they grew postmortem with more orange fungi with gelatinous spores. Also growing, are red gem like crystals. they might be the blood reacting to the heat, that caused the injury and cauterization. not necessarily the heat, but the source of the heat and the cauterization. 

I will take some of the living tissue for lab analysis, alone I won’t be able to tell the reasoning behind it . Although the cause of death, hemorrhagic shock. The broken ribs occurred after the amputation. “
