V: Watch out!!
M: I could win even with my eyes closed.
Merlin closed his eyes and continued to play, fully trusting his instincts. Alvin continued to narrate with a nervous tone.

Al: Kasparov seems to have one final move! The Dark Earth Master is putting pressure on the Wind Wizard with a last-ditch effort!
L: Merlin is cornered; with the slightest mistake, we’ll go back the way we came.
V: What does that mean?
Alpha: Did you think I’d just perform a simple chess spell and let the winner inside? If you win, Kasparov will complete the spell, and you can stay inside as long as Harley permits. But if you lose, it will erase your memory of the path you took and return you to the day before you set out.

Suddenly, Alvin shouted:

Hooray! Merlin had won the match; it was such a proud and happy moment for me. We locked eyes, and I ran to him and hugged him.
