There were some beings who lived in these lands long before humans. Some ruled the land on the ground, some ruled the oceans in the seas, and some ruled kingdoms in castles in the sky to maintain the balance of nature. The people responsible for the order on the ground were foxes and wolves, while phoenixes could be called more of a hunter and troublemaker. And when you turned your head up, you could see the kingdoms behind the clouds, but for this, it was not enough to look with your eyes, you had to feel with your heart as well.

Let me tell you about the Gryffins, how we inherited this, this is a very long story, but I think it would be much more likely for you to understand our history if we start with the throne fights first. In the early ages, the Gryffin kingdoms were divided according to certain things, we were a heiliant species that could control weather conditions, which separated us from other heiliants. The first to sit on the throne were Isaac and his wife Gloria. As the first created Isaac, he was given some powers, he was the Stormbringer, the storms on earth were asked from him and came into being by his doing. While the other kingdoms continued to exist, the newborns had already established their kingdoms and taken root. After marrying his wife Gloria, Isaac gave birth to the parents of his grandchildren, whose fate was not yet known, with whom he would start the first throne fights.

Adrien, Dustin and Pearl, these three siblings would be the first Gryffin descendants. Adrien was the mischievous, naughty one, his childhood was like this, Dustin was the calm, moderate one, he got along with everyone and was warm-blooded, and the youngest, Pearl, was the wise one, he had spent his whole life researching to write the entire history of Heiliant in a book, and he wrote that book and gave it to an Anka with all its secrets and hid it. Although the storm power that Isaac had did not pass to his children, it passed to his grandchildren, and the issue of who would take the throne broke out here anyway.

Adrien and his wife Aisha had two children. Brook and Agnes, Brook had passed away before he could live long, but his sister Agnes had the Tornado ability thanks to the genes she inherited from her grandfather. My father Lowell, his brother Josef my uncle and their sister Gwen my aunt. Our son Lorenzo was born with a disease, he had scars on his wing feathers and could not use them efficiently, but this did not stop his powers, he was responsible for the Dew. And our youngest son Randall was born with the power of the Flood, a natural phenomenon. I had exactly ten grandchildren and only six of them had developed powers. Jade's children had no powers, so she had no birthright to the throne. Penny's son had developed powers and so she was likely to ascend to the throne when her genes caught on. Interestingly, Astrid, despite having a strong family structure, had given up her right to the throne of her own free will and wanted to have a normal life. Each of them had a position in the kingdom that they ruled, but Astrid wanted to only mind her own business and stay away from throne matters. When Lorenzo's turn came, he had two daughters, one of them was born with the power of the storm and had the right to the throne, but since his daughters never married, his right was lost. And finally, his daughter Carolina did not marry and was born weak, but his son was not, Ryder was born with the power of the storm and married, but his daughter Erica was weak and still very young. So the right to the throne was left to Penny and her generation.

Even though I had made a decision about the throne, the generation after me had to remember our rules, traditions and customs and pass them on to the next generation.
