From Victor and Victoria's Perspective
After years of research, we have determined that Violet Riotta is the only surviving heir of Charles Riotta. At least, her brother did not inherit these powers; only Violet did. We had devised a detailed plan on how to capture her, what powers she possesses, and how she could lead us to Rein Orka. Victor was deeply troubled because he was torn between making a wish for his daughter. Either she would live, and he would die, or he would make a wish for her life and give up his own soul. He was caught in this dilemma. No one knew what Rein Orka would demand in return, and he was in a cycle of uncertainty, not knowing what he would be exposed to. He was taking out his frustration on the children, torturing them after every mission. Even though I tried to rescue them often, Victor showed no mercy.
I had been retreating into my lab, experimenting with my test tubes, and spending time there. At least until Victor came to break the silence.
Victor: My dear sister, smiling.
Victoria: Prince of nightmares, stop that hideous grin.
Victor: Haha, are you having fun? Becoming serious.
Victoria: Just say what you want. Did something happen?
Victor: It’s time to start our little game. I’ve come to let you know it’s time to prepare.
Victoria: Me?
Victor: No, sister. It’s time for my soldiers to head out. I hope you’ve prepared those test tubes.
Victoria: Of course, I have.
Victor: Good. While I prepare the cells, they should be on the hunt for my prey.
Victoria: Don’t worry, brother. After Victor left, I called the children and had my final conversation with them.
Victoria: My dear children, the time has come, but before that, I have something to tell you.
Magnus: What is it, Victoria? I sense a bad omen.
Victoria: Listen. This is your hardest and most error-prone mission. I’ve prepared a few potions to protect you, but if you come back empty-handed, my brother will turn us all into kebabs.
Aiden: I understand perfectly.
Magnus: Don’t be afraid, my siblings. We’ll get rid of these bombs.
Veronica: We have no margin for error, so let’s get ready.
From the Trio's Perspective
Veronica: Aiden, I don’t feel ready for this.
Aiden: Hey, pull yourself together.
Victoria: My dear children, I don’t feel ready for this mission either, but we have to do it.
Magnus: She’s right, my dear. You’ve always been the smartest among us.
Veronica: Don’t flatter me, children. Smiling. Also, Magnus, you’re our strongest, as we know.
Aiden: So the beauty rights are mine, right? Smiling and approaching.
Magnus: Even if you lovebirds postpone flirting, shouldn’t we start hunting now?
Aiden: Now you’re speaking a language I understand, brother. You’re right, we need to get ready.
Veronica: Children, I’m so glad you’re in my life. I love you all so much. Try not to die.
Magnus: Don’t worry, my dear. I’ll live just to throw my socks at you.
Veronica: Hahaha, very funny! Throws socks.
After getting dressed and prepared, Victor sends them off to their mission. The reality that they had done everything Victor wanted for years had filled them with ambition. Their eyes were practically consumed with revenge and freedom. They set out, preparing a plan to capture Violet by setting a trap. As Magnus approached the forest, he took one of the vials Victoria had prepared and held it up to his head. These vials would allow them to use the powers of the hybrids they had become by embedding themselves in their DNA.
While Aiden and Veronica went to the front, Magnus moved to the rear and used one of Victoria’s potions to break Merlin’s shield. Interestingly, he succeeded. He immediately infiltrated and released a knockout necrotic toxic gas into the environment.
BATTLE SCENE: Two Scenes Earlier
After the Battle:
Each of them had scattered. They were defeated, their hands empty, and they slowly regrouped, unsure of what to do next.
Magnus: Children, this shouldn’t have happened. What went wrong? Everything was going according to plan. Voice trembling with fear.
Aiden: Are you okay? This is not good at all. If we return home empty-handed, we all know what Victor will do to us. We need to find a solution urgently. Fearful.
Magnus: Or at least, we need to find a temporary solution to buy us some time.
Aiden: What about you, Veronica? Aren’t you going to say something?
Veronica: Actually, I have a great plan, children. Are you with me?
Magnus: Can we get out of this?
Veronica: Believe me, not only will we get out, but we’ll also have a chance to survive.
Aiden: What’s on your mind, dear?
Veronica: We might have a tiny advantage.
Magnus: What do you mean? Curious.
Veronica: I know she has a younger sibling. If we can capture him before dawn, he could be a great bait.
Aiden: If he has a sibling, wouldn’t his blood be useful as well? Why doesn’t Victor hunt him?
Magnus: Because, my brother, Violet’s blood is fox blood. He’s not a demon sibling.
Veronica: Exactly, Magnus.
Aiden: We need to set out. Get ready.
They prepare and head towards the coldest mountains in the North. It was known that there were still living fox tribes there, and they began their search from there. In one of the villages they visited, they found a trace of the child and learned that he was leading the young of the herd. After observing him for a while, they made a plan. Magnus would go alone to capture him and would catch him at a moment when he was distracted.
Magnus: Hey, hello there, friend.
Hector: You’re no friend. Scans him from over his shoulder.
Magnus: I didn’t come to cause trouble, just to talk.
Hector: Do you think I’m stupid? I can read minds.
Magnus: If that’s the case, then you’re not that smart.
Hector: On the contrary, Magnus. I expected a better plan from you. Slowly turns around.
Magnus: Hector! Surprised.
Hector: Do you remember?
Magnus: I’m sorry for what I did. His face falls.
Hector: Is this the reward for the sweets I brought you and your siblings at Dr. Quinlan’s hospital?
Veronica and Aiden come from behind and knock him out. Offering Hector as prey to Victor would earn them another day of life. They set off and, though not very confident, they pray for their plan to work.
Victoria: Brother, they’ve arrived, and with a surprise.
Victor: I knew they would succeed.
Victoria: They may not be much, but they do have something useful in their hands.
Victor: What does that mean?
Victoria: Come with me, I’ll take you to them.
Victor: My three foolish children, where is the girl?
Aiden: They were very strong, Victor. Our hybrid powers weren’t enough against theirs.
Magnus: She’s right, they scattered us all.
Veronica: But don’t be discouraged, we have a nice gift for you.
She removes the sack from Hector’s head.
Victor: Hector! Excited.
Victoria: They didn’t come back empty-handed after all.
Magnus: Please, Victoria, this is just a small part of the big game. Victor leans down to Hector, holds his chin, and says:
Victor: We’re going to have so much fun with you, child.
Hector: I doubt it, you psychopath. Spits in Victor’s face.
Victor: Lock that useless animal in his cage and come to me.
Aiden & Magnus & Veronica: Yes, Master! They lock Hector in the cage Victor designed.
Hector asks Magnus:
Hector: You need to explain to me what you plan to do with me!
Magnus: Look, friend, I’m sorry, but you’re bait. A beautiful bait to lure your sister to us. Smirks.
Hector: My sister? What nonsense is this now! Come back here!
Hector: You will pay for this, you cursed dogs!
Aiden: I don’t think so. Laughs as he locks the dungeon.
