*Penny and her Generation*
My father's reign had ended and it was the turn of the new generation to take the throne. My siblings and I each took on a role in the kingdom. After my father's funeral, we each continued our duties a little shaken and hopelessly. Although our mother, who died years before him, only left us our powers, my father had a kingdom left behind for us and his grandchildren. In fact, we were not the only kingdom, but we could say that we had the most productive kingdom thanks to a plant we harvested. Although it seemed like nothing could grow in the sky, thanks to the clouds and the moisture in them, we were able to grow many kinds of fruits and vegetables by using our skills efficiently. Speaking of kingdoms, the Gryffin kingdoms were very special, there were seven kingdoms in total. While each had its own unique reflections, some were considered enemies to each other. Because our great, great ancestor Isaac, the first Gryffin, wrote in the Book of Laws that there were many throne fights when he founded the first kingdoms.
This book was very important for our time, it had an importance that would be passed on to the next generation on the teachings left by our first ancestors. It contained every single trick from our traditions, laws, and education, so much so that according to our elders, there was an opposing book created with the black magic of the Anka based on the information in this book, and this book contained the weakest points of every race, people, and living being with every characteristic, and the methods to destroy them. Those who used the black book were considered cursed, and in case of rebellion, they were either left to die in dungeons or exiled.
Apart from these, the stories of the kingdoms had always fascinated me. In the years before we were married and when we were all young, we had experienced many adventures and thanks to these, we were able to pass on the teachings to our grandchildren. For example, one evening, Randall, Astrid and I set out for Dilivium. My father had given us a delivery mission; each kingdom would share the harvest data with the other kingdoms every year, so that each would help the other to have a balanced and productive year.
Randall was the more stern and logical one among us, he remained loyal to his ideals and loved order. In fact, he was devoted to everything with a perfection that was incredibly annoying. He would wake up at the same time every day, finish the projects left over from the night, or he would draw the plans for new projects, and at that time he would definitely drink Emotiflora boiled with milk. Apart from these, he was a true Omega in personality and a good architect and engineer, he did his job really well, sometimes he would get so much work from the other kingdoms that we would all help him make the models. He usually wore a royal uniform and by choosing black, he achieved that seriousness that matched his personality.
As for Astrid, she was a true Gamma. She was a perfect hybrid of the two, balancing the dominant traits of my father with the harmonious traits of my mother. She was confident, but not a leader. She was usually pragmatic and less visible. She didn't have routines, she was usually her own person, she never needed confirmation about anything universally known to be true, and she wasn't afraid to take risks. Her style of dress was fixed, she wore fifty different shades of mixed dresses to wear when she was a king, and the rest of the time she mingled with the people and dressed like them. She was the first in our family to learn to use runes, and she even had many of them carved into her body.
It would be a shame if I didn't introduce myself and talk about us so much. I am the Beta of the family. In other words - I am easy-going, supportive and cooperative. Unlike my father, I prefer to be a part of the family and support the leaders rather than being dominant. I am someone who is successful when they have to lead, but I usually prefer to stay in the shadows. I am calmer, more patient and generally get along well with other heiliants. My emotional intelligence is higher than the rest of the family and I am understanding in heiliant relationships. I am sometimes passive or have difficulty expressing my own desires, but that doesn't stop me from going on adventures. Since grey hair is rare in our family, we believe it is sacred. We believe that the Moon blesses us and grants us our talents.
Since I was more interested in meteorology, tarot, horoscopes, months, cycles and other things were my field. For example, while there were twelve months in the human world, our world Sirenia had seven months. This was because we had two suns and one moon in the Sirenia galaxy. There were things that the suns represented, for example, the larger Creation Sun Vithar represented creation, birth and life energy. Unlike the human sun, it stayed in the sky for more than 14 hours, plants grew rapidly, heiliants and magical beings felt their creative power most intensely. The month we used this sun most efficiently was Solanir (1st Month), all creation processes accelerated. The other smaller one was Morak, the Sun of Destruction, representing destruction, end and chaos. According to Vithar, it stayed in the sky for 10-12 hours, it had more intense but destructive effects. Nature slowed down, spells became weaker. The most productive month was Veloras (6th Month), destructive energies increased, wars and power struggles increased. And now let's come to the Moon Seluna represented balance, purification and serenity. Her influence changed throughout the Moon's cycle, providing balance in the sky during the night.
She provided the balance between creation and destruction. Magic and astral energies remained in balance. Especially in the month of Zephyra (4th Month), Seluna's influence was strongest during the periods when the two powers were balanced.
Apart from these, some of the gryffins born in the seven months had powers, I had proven this in my research and recorded it in the book of laws. Each month had a time of yield and reception. Each month was forty-five days long.
1st Month: Solanir | Beginning and Birth | **Sun of Creation (Vithar)**: At the peak of its power. Plants grow and life energy increases.
2nd Month: Eldros | Wisdom and Learning | **Sun of Creation (Vithar)**: Still strong, but starting to wane. Knowledge and learning increase.
3rd Month: Ravikon | War and Power | **Sun of Destruction (Morak)**: Appears for the first time, weak effect. Period of feeling strong.
4th Month: Zephyra | Wind and Change | **Two Suns in Balance**: Both Destruction and Creation effects are balanced. The most productive day of the year is the 22nd of this month.
5th Month: Xyrelia | Shadows and Mystery | **Sun of Destruction (Morak)**: Strength increases. Magic powers darken and weaken.
6th Month: Veloras | Fall and Rebirth | **Sun of Destruction (Morak)**: At its strongest time. Creative powers decrease.
7th Month: Nivara | Autumn and Closure | **Sun of Destruction (Morak)**: Slowly fades away, the least productive day of the year is the 15th of this month.
My job in the kingdom was to create a regular report based on this information. With the help of my other brothers' powers, I was calculating when there would be chaos or when we would have the most productive time. That night, it was exactly R37.R03.It was the year 6820 and it was the month when the effects of the sun of destruction were weak, so it was easier for us to travel to other kingdoms. And yes, we could go to other kingdoms at certain times and meet at certain times. Most Gryffins are immune to the sun, but my brother Lorenzo;
He was born with a disease, the sun had covered his wings and skin with wounds and burned them. Therefore, we found such solutions to take care of ourselves. We set out and when we arrived there, the first thing that caught our attention was the palace and the people celebrating. The king had a grandson and they were celebrating this. The magnificence of the kingdom was so dazzling and beautiful.
Randall: Oh my god they've lit up the whole place again
Astrid: It's interesting that the people are struggling with trade hunger but they can celebrate
Penny: My smart sister, this is a celebration so that the people can support them together. They distribute meat, bread, flour, rice, and clothing to the people.
Randall: This represents the arrival of the heir in abundance. Try looking through a history book a little if you want.
Astrid: Haha ha you're very funny Rani I'd love to see you in my next court case, you smartass.
Penny: When are you two going to grow up?
Randall: I'm the one who took care of the democratic part of it all but you still can't be happy.
Astrid: That's what the man who was chasing cats said this morning.
Penny: Hahaha seriously?
Randall: I had to catch him before I could build him a house Penny
Astrid: Of course, *turns her head the other way* Oh look over there!
Penny: What the hell is this, Randall??
Randall: Oh my god, haven't you two ever read a goddamned history book?
Astrid: I guess we don't have as much free time as you do
Penny: Can we just catch up for a minute?
Randall: If Astrid stops stroking her ego, I'll continue
Penny: Astrid??
Astrid: Oh, go on, then
Randall: This is the Kingdom of the Heavy Rain, so every day at the same time, they kneel down in this area, palms together, and shower themselves with raindrops they're purifying
Penny: But it rains every day here anyway
Astrid: It's the moon's influence, isn't it?
Randall: Exactly, let's give this to the king and get back I want to get going before it's too late
Astrid: Looks like someone's missing Maria
Penny: Randall you said you haven't been seeing her
Randall: Couldn't you (Astrid) keep your mouth shut a little longer, little lady?
Astrid: Oops! It just slipped out of my mouth *mischievous smile*
Penny: Randall??
Randall: Oh my god I just like it when you don't act like a mother to me
Penny: I don't really like that girl though
Randall: My heart doesn't care at all unfortunately
Astrid: Wow, that's a big door *surprised*
Penny: The king must like to show off
Randall: Both of you just be quiet and bow to him
Astrid: I would never kneel to any king except my father
Penny&Randall: Astrid!!
Randal: Oh my god just be nice
Astrid: He's not even the real king
Penny: No you idiot he's the king of this kingdom so we have to respect that
Randall: Okay then don't do anything that would embarrass my father
He knocked on the door and we followed him inside, putting on serious expressions. The inside was a magnificent throne room like any other palace. King Orion was sitting on his throne in such a magnificent manner. It was almost breathtaking despite being a middle-aged king.
Randall: King Orion, I am Randall Moon, son of King Mark of the Kingdom of Niubis.
Orion: How nice to see you Randall, what are you here for?
Randall: Thank you, I came here with my two sisters Astrid and Penny, we have been assigned to present you with the Kingdom reports.
Orion: Ah Mark is working diplomatically as always.
Penny&Astrid: King Orion, we sincerely congratulate you on your new heir.
Orion: Thank you ladies, you can have your gifts left in the room next door.
I took a quick look at Astrid and whispered.
Penny: Damn it, we can't have forgotten that!
Astrid: I hope Randall was more responsible than us.
Penny: Nothing. I don't think so but I need to send a message to Lorenzo urgently
Astrid: I'll handle it
Astrid coughed as if clearing her throat and we got permission from King Orion and left the room, at that time Randall and I were talking in our minds and I told him that he needed to stall, in the meantime we would contact Lorenzo and tell him to come here with a gift.
Penny: We've done the easy part, now think carefully about how we're going to reach that blockhead
Astrid: How good are you at sending runes with the clouds?
Penny: Oh my god, you can't be serious
Astrid: At least it's worth a try
Although I didn't love the idea, we went outside to the castle's stony grounds and quickly started working on it under the pouring rain. Astrid drew a rune on her hand and we held hands as if shaking hands. Astrid was saying the words and I was creating a cloud and while she was saying those words, the message we wanted to convey was written on the raindrops in the cloud. In addition to being born with special powers, as gryffins, we were a species among the heiliants that could hunt silently. We could do whatever we wanted silently, in our own way of course. And the cloud was on its way to Lorenzo.
Penny: Do you think it will work?
Astrid: If our brother is not a little busy, then yes, this will definitely work.
Penny: All that's left is to react quickly
Astrid: Exactly
Lorenzo was a flirtatious, funny, intelligent and sneaky type of character, he was the Delta in our family, usually considered introverted and shy. Although he used to have a more dominant personality like Dad or Mom, as he grew up he preferred to be quiet, reserved and observant. He had strong observation skills and deep emotional understanding. Lorenzo got our message and quickly came with seven swords representing the seven kingdoms. Even though they don't have any value for the baby now, in the future, all seven kings will respect him thanks to these swords.
Lorenzo: What would you girls do without me?
Astrid: Hahaha I bet you were out for some womanizing
Penny: I bet you twice as much, he was right in the middle of it
Randall: Leave him alone girls, Hello bro
Lorenzo: The little diplomat is on the job, that's a rare thing to see
Penny: He did a pretty good job actually
Astrid: What can you say, we were about to explode half an hour ago
Lorenzo: You got away thanks to me, how about something cold?
Randall: You won't ask I thought
Astrid: Let's get out of here now
Penny: First one to the finish line gets all the treats
Lorenzo: Oh no you didn't say that!
Randall: Race?
Astrid: 3.. 2..
