Aiden had somewhat comforted me; at least part of the plan was ready. I got up, washed my face with cold water, and went down to Merlin. The stairs felt more frightening to me each time; they were covered in moss and smelled bad.

Violet: Are you okay?
I touched Merlin's shoulder, and he suddenly turned to me with angry eyes; it was very strange, his eye color was more orange than usual, and it looked like there was a flame burning inside. I flinched and took a step back, and his face returned to normal.
Merlin: I'm so sorry, V. I've been trying to make this potion for a long time, but I've run out of patience.
Violet: Hey, come here *hugs him* it's okay, the kids are working on part of the plan upstairs.
Merlin: Please give me good news.

They didn't know I could manipulate the elements, which would give us a 2-0 lead. If they didn't fall for the bluff, Plan B was that we would fight them. Some nights, when Hector is asleep, he gets lost in his nightmares, and I have to use my powers to wake him up. I feel sorry for him; he has no one, and if we survive this, I guess Hector will be my only spiritual connection.
In the morning, we got dressed and ready, but Hector warned me that after he left the triplets, there was a small chance they might find me and could be with Violet based on the injuries I told him about. So, taking that into account, we set off with some potions and inventions from my aunt.
From Violet's perspective:
Morning had come, and our breakfast was lively and cheerful. The conversations were just like that.

Aiden: Violet??
Violet: Merlin??
