I landed on the ground of berk as I noticed hiccup and Astrid talking to the chief. Stoick walked off as I ran over to them.

"Sigrid?" Hiccup asked in shock.

"Haven't you read what I sent you?" I asked as he looked at Astrid and back at me, shaking his head. "Gustav is driving everyone crazy. He's out of control and we're thinking about shipping him off to who knows where! You need to get back"

"Gustav?!" Astrid says annoyed "we haven't read any letter about gustav. We'll go back to the edge with you."

"Good. I have to get something for fishlegs." I said "Gustav ruined a plant and I have to get some seed."

"Here, this." Hiccup reached out his hand to me revealing a coin. "This will get you that seed." I smiled at hiccup as Astrid watched us.

"Thank you." I said, grabbing the coin "I better get going." I walked past them up to johans boat.

"Hello Sigrid hofferson! What would you like to trade on this lovely bright day?" He asked as I walked onto his boat looking around.

"I need a seed." I told him as he looked around for his seeds.

"That will be one coin." Johan said as I handed him the coin. He smiled as he put the coin safety away.

"Thank you" I said "I'll be on the edge." I pet deadeye and got on her.

"It's lovely to trade with you, Sigrid hofferson. Tell your lovely sister a hello from me" Johan said as I nodded. I won't.

"we're nearly there." Hiccup says flying on toothless. It was the golden hour already, we had to get to the dragon's edge soon.

"Uh- when is nearly?" Snotlout complained flying next to Astrid.

"Nearly is when we see the edge" Astrid tells snotlout annoyed.

"Is that it?" Snotlout asks, pointing at a piece of land under some clouds "nope doesn't look like it." He says after the clouds clear up.

"Can't you just shut up? You'll know when we're at dragons edge because it will look like it!" Astrid yelled at snotlout which just stared at her scared.

"Stop being so astrid, astrid!" Snotlout yelled at her which made her furious and jumped on hookfang as he just watched her. Astrid walked over to snotlout hitting him with her hand in his face. She jumped off of hookfang landing on stormfly again as snotlout touched the part where astrid hit him.

"That's an image I would gladly never forget." I said, looking at them laughing. "We need to focus. We have no idea where Gustav is!"

"Why does that even matter?" Astrid asked as I looked down to the sea.

"I really don't know. I'm just doing what hiccup told me to do" I said shrugging.

"Because he's our responsibility." Hiccup said, responding annoyed. "And also because he's a child and can't live or survive on his own."

"whatever." I mumbled as hiccup gave me annoyed glances. I looked at him as he looked away frowning. Deadeye whined as I pet her. "She's hungry. I haven't fed her before. We need to land somewhere, she barely has energy"

"I could say the same thing about hookfang. I mean look at him!" Snotlout said as I noticed hookfang tired with his tongue sticking out.

"Okay gang. Let's land on the closest island we find for a bit." Hiccup says as snotlout yells out excited.

"There!" He said, pointing at a small island. "It's a bit small though."

"Doesn't matter." I pointed out "all of our dragons are obviously exhausted and need to rest."

"What about fishlegs, the twins and gustav?" Astrid asked me as I thought about that.

"I completely forgot about them." I said sighing "they'll have to wait. We can't continue to fly on our dragons."

"Alright, team, to the island!" Hiccup said as we all flew down to the island we found.

The fire continued to burn in the wood as we sat around it with our dragons next to us. I rubbed my hands together and stretched them out to the fire. I got out some fish I had and fed deadeye. I notice toothless looking at deadeye as she stands up and throws one to toothless, toothless eats it quickly as I giggled at them. I look all around me as I see everyone asleep but hiccup. I notice him staring at me as he quickly looks away. I stand up, sitting next to him.

"Hey" I said softly as he looked at me and back at toothless.

"Hi," he said awkwardly. "You should be asleep. It's going to get dark pretty soon."

"Then why aren't you?" I asked him as he looked at me.

"Because I should watch if dagur or someone sees us." He explains as I nod.

"Then I'll do that too." I said as he looked confused at me "you need to sleep, haddock. Just go to sleep, I'll deal with it."

"No," He said as I looked annoyed at him. "I do it. I'm going to do it. I can sleep tomorrow."

"Am I going to have to fight you because of this?" I asked him, smirking as he laughed. "Because I will!"

"I'm not going to fight you, sigrid!" He said annoyed at me as I punched him softly in his stomach making him have to grab my hands. "Stop it!"

"I warned you, and you ignored me, that's what you get!" I said giggling as I broke loose out of his grasp.

"No, no! Stop it!" Hiccup said "ow!" he continued saying as I kept on playfully punching him. He grabbed my wrists strongly as I kept on trying to get out but failing. "No, you're staying here"

"Too bad" I said laughing as I positioned myself and tried to get out of his grasp. Getting out without hurt, I laughed as I got ready to punch but he grabbed my hands quickly as I gave up.

"Stop punching me." he said. "We need to get enough energy for tomorrow. We have to deal with gustav."

I closed my eyes and sighed exhausted.

"I'm staying here though. Goodnight." I said as he nodded.

HICCUP'S POV

"I'm staying here though. Goodnight" She said as I nodded. I smiled to myself not knowing why. I looked at everyone asleep, including sigrid. I looked up to see the dark sky. I felt a soft touch by my shoulder as I looked to my left shoulder. Sigrid's head was resting on it peacefully sleeping. I rested my head on hers as I fell asleep.

We landed on dragons edge as I sighed at the sight of fishlegs and the twins running towards us. I got off of deadeye and walked over to them.

"Thank god you're here. What took you so long?" Fishlegs hugged me, letting me go after. "Gustav is gone!"

"What?!" Hiccup yelled out shocked.

"He means we can't find him anywhere" tuffnut explained as snotlout smirked.

"I know what he means!" Hiccup said frustrated. "We have to go looking for him"

"We can split up," I said, shrugging at him.

"Twins- where are the twins!?" hiccup said annoyed.

"Crying over their boar pit." fishlegs announced "gustav filled it up."

"Oh, someone get the twins!" Astrid yelled but no one moved. "Ugh, I'll do it." She took off on stormfly heading to the twins.

"How should we split up?" I asked, "We have to balance ourselves."

"Snotlout, go with me," Hiccup says. "Astrid goes with the twins and fishlegs."

"What about me?" I asked, looking at hiccup as he widened his eyes.

"I forgot about-" he said but stopped before he finished that sentence "you'll go with me"

"But that's not going to be balanced" I said but hiccup ignored me.

"We need to check the island. Fanghook isn't here, let's check the edge first and then the other islands. My team will search the upper part, team astrid will search the under part." Hiccup says as astrid landed next to hiccup. Barf and belch landed next to Astrid with puffy, red eyes.

"Tuff, ruff, what happened to your eyes?" Fishlegs asks, scared of them.

"Turns out, crying can make your eyes red!" Tuffnut stated out. They weren't crying anymore, their eyes were just red.

"Anyways. Let's go" Hiccup says as fishlegs explains everything to team astrid and hiccup's team takes off to search the upper part.

"He's gone, hiccup!" Snotlout said in the air full of green liquid. "We didn't find him here."

"Maybe astrid's team found him?" I sighed as hiccup looked over the edge.

"Did we check all of the caves?" Hiccup asked us as I nodded but snotlout looked anywhere but at hiccup. "Snotlout?" He asked as snotlout groaned.

"I couldn't have done it anyways! There's this one cave I haven't checked, it's impossible to get through!" Snotlout argues "Inside of the cave there's a cavern crasher!" Snotlout said which made me and hiccup look at each other and back at snotlout. "It attacked hookfang, and then me. That's why I'm covered in mucus!"

"What's it doing on the edge?" Hiccup asked himself "snotlout, show us this cave" Snotlout nodded as he led the way to the cave.

"What's a cavern crasher doing here? And how did it even get here?" I asked hiccup.

"Can they even swim? If they can, maybe that's how. But why?" Hiccup wondered as I thought about it.

"They can swim! They can, they can" I said as hiccup thought hard.

"Then it got here by swimming, but why?" Hiccup asked as he looked at me as we followed hookfang and snotlout.

Hookfang landed in front of a medium sized cave as we all got off of our dragons. Snotlout ran the other way of the cave as I grabbed him by his shirt and dragged him back in front of the cave by hookfang.

"You're not going anywhere" I warned him as he looked frightened at the cave. "Are you scared to go inside there?"

"No... no! Please." He said scoffing confidently. "I could go inside that cave with no fear. It's just one small dragon that could kill us all."

"Good. Because you're going in there if you want it or not." I said "what's the plan?"

"Get it out somehow and make it swim off of the edge, to some island far enough." Hiccup said. "We could capture it and carry it through the air, it'll go faster that way."

"Then we have to find fanghook." I said as hiccup nodded.

We all got on our dragons as we entered the cave.

"It's empty." Hiccup whispered as we all looked around.

"What do you mean as empty?" Snotlout asked quietly far behind us. I looked at hiccup which was in front of me.

"There are no signs of dragons fighting over something. There are no scratching marks, no bones, no footprints, no arrows." I whispered, explaining it for hiccup.

"Then he must not be here, right?" Snotlout asked. "We can turn back." A loud roar came from the deep end of the cave.

"And no, turning back." I said confidently as the dragons kept on walking deeper into the cave. "The cavern crasher."

"Well? Where is it? Cause I'm not waiting around here all day!" Snotlout argues around. I notice some green mucus on the ground as toothless steps on it, not noticing it. We continue to walk for a bit as I hear rocks falling, or getting pushed around. I see the cavern crasher digging into the pile of stones as we watch it dig.

"It's the cavern crasher and it's a TITAN. It's known for pushing dragons out of its homes." Hiccup announces.

"I think you forgot to mention that it's a titan!! The only thing is, no dragon lives here. What is it doing here then?" I ask myself as snotlout rolls his eyes.

"Blah blah blah, let's just get to it, okay? Hookfang, fire!" Snotlout says as hiccup sighs.

"Snotlout don't do-" I said quickly but hookfang fires at the cavern crasher, making it turn around at us and growl. "That." I finished my sentence as deadeye growls at it. The cavern crasher shoots at snotlout as toothless shoots at it. Hookfang fires at the cavern crasher, but making it fail since it doesn't do anything to the cavern crasher.

"Hookfang careful!" Snotlout says as the cavern shoots at snotlout, hardly missing. The cavern crasher crawls over the top of the cave.

"This dragon is fast," hiccup said as we looked at the cavern crasher running to us quickly. He stopped and wiggled a bit, getting some mucus off of its back. "What is that?!" Hiccup asked, shocked.

"It's the mucus!" I said "quick don't get hit by it, if a blast hits it, it can start a fire. Don't let it get on you."

"But I am covered in it!" Snotlout said, dodging the mucus which was thrown.

"Well don't get hit by a blast then" hiccup said as we dodged his mucus and fired at him. "The fire doesn't do anything!"

"We need to combine our firepower to be able to dry the mucus off of it." I said as hookfang looked weak.

"He's at his last blast!" Snotlout states as I sigh. I look at hiccup and toothless, looking at deadeye not long after.

"I got it." I said as I walked over to hiccup and toothless. "Toothless and deadeye need to shoot blasts at its back, everything they have. Then, hookfang!" I said as hookfang looked at me "you will have to blast your last shot at its back."

Snotlout and hiccup nodded as we all did what the plan planned.

After a bit of shooting non-stop. The cavern crashers tail squished once mucus out, but revealed no green mucus. Nothing. I smiled at snotlout and hiccup as snotlout put a rope over the cavern crasher.

"We've been flying for a long time now, don't you think?" Snotlout asked hiccup, holding the end of the ropes of the cavern crasher.

"We can't let him go until we find the island." Hiccup explains as the cavern crasher island pops up. "There, let's take a closer look at where to set him down." We fly down to the island as I notice a nice place for it to land.

"There" I pointed out as hookfang and deadeye changed directions. We set down the cavern crasher as it roared at us, shooting mucus at us as it hit me.

"Ugh!" I said, disgusted by it.

"Sticky, isn't it?" Snotlout asked me as I nodded, looking down at my soggy clothes.

"Sigrid!" Hiccup yelled as I saw a fireball shot towards me. Someone pushes me off of deadeye as I fall onto the ground, unhurt. Sounds of multiple blasts are heard, and seen.

"DEADEYE!" I yelled out, running over to her as I saw that she got hit.

"We'll take her to gothi..." hiccup said as he got up.

"Thank you" I said as he nodded.

"Hookfang can carry deadeye, she can't fly since she got hit in the wing. Sigrid, you'll fly with me" Hiccup said as hookfang looked at deadeye. I pet her as she whined and I hugged her. I watch the cavern crasher run off quickly as I sigh.

"Here" hiccup said, helping me up on toothless as I sighed.

"I just hope deadeye gets better with gothi." I said as hookfang took off, carrying deadeye. Suddenly, toothless took off, making me nearly fall off of toothless. I yelled as hiccup grabbed me quickly before falling down. I put my arms around his torso, sighing.

"Thank you." I said as he replied.

"Don't worry about it" he said "let's just get to the edge as fast. The others will look for gustav and fanghook. I'll send a letter to Berk to bring gothi."

We landed on dragon's edge's ground as they looked at us weirdly. Hookfang landed next to us, setting deadeye down. I jumped off of toothless, running over to her as she whined.

"What happened?!" Astrid asked, shocked about whitepaw.

"It's deadeye." Hiccup explained "she got hit multiple times pretty badly by the cavern crasher we found in one of the caves. We need gothi" Astrid's team saw deadeye as I hugged her tightly.

"Well we found gustav"" fishlegs said out loud as he walked out and observed deadeye, checking if she would be alright. "I can search for anything about it in the dragons book. Just stay with her"

"Hurry" I said as I laid down next to deadeye.

HICCUP'S POV

I followed fishlegs into my hut, grabbing out the book of dragons. I opened it, searching through the pages for the 'cavern crasher'. I flipped through the pages as I detected a big title 'cavern crasher'. I read the text as fishlegs sighed.

"It doesn't say anything about what's happening to deadeye." Fishlegs said as I ran my fingers through my hair.

"It has to!" I said, re-reading the texts. "Then if it's not here, what will we do?"

"The book of dragons has all the information about all the dragons we know. If it's not here, then something must have happened which isn't what we think it is. Maybe some venom?" Fishlegs shrugs as I look through the page.

"What about... this?" I ask him as I point at a smaller text size.

"The cavern crasher's mucus is a sticky substance to the dragons and humans, so some dragons, if they get covered by it and fired at, can react differently to it. The consequences can be sickness which could lead to death if not healed. The cure for it includes the further objects:" fishlegs reads out loud as I widen my eyes.

"Death?!" I said shocked "It can't happen. We need this cure!!"

"It's not very easy. But we don't know what actually happened to her, so if it's not the reaction..." fishlegs says scared.

"It has to be something else. It has to be this, what else would it be?" Hiccup said "what are the ingredients? We need this cure now!"

"It includes: bitterweed, purple oleander.... and ... oh." fishlegs says as I widen my eyes.

"The mucus?" I ask him as he nods and I sigh. "Purple oleander? Blue ones are poisonous to dragons, how does purple make any difference?!"

"It just says it here." Fishlegs says reading some text "purple oleander and bitterweed."

"How do we know purple oleander isn't poisonous?" I ask him as he looks down at the book.

"It's harmless to dragons and used for medicine. Even gothi used it and it did nothing to a dragon." Fishlegs says as I look down at the book.

"Where do we find it?" I ask him as he was about to reply but the door bursts open.

"Find what?" She asked as Sigrid walked in with her hands on her hips.

"Sigrid!" I said shocked "oh um the antidote. It contains some things... we're about to get going."

"Do you know what's happening to my dragon?!" She asked, looking frustrated at us. Me and fishlegs look at each other and back at her. "Tell me now"

I stand up, dragging her outfit with me.

"Look, we think your dragon reacted differently to the mucus." I explained to her as she raised an eyebrow "she acted differently! Some dragons react to some things differently than others. This could explain why your dragon isn't feeling too good."

"So she's poisoned?!" She says as I widen my eyes.

"No no!" I said as she looked confused at me "she acted differently."

"So she's allergic?"

"Pretty much." I said, crossing my arms.

"What are the consequences?!"

"That she might be able to... um..." I said, stuttering "die soon if we don't get the antidote soon..."

"DIE?!" She yelled out, shocked in fear. "Please tell me there is an antidote...?"

"Yes." I said as she calmed down a bit. "But we're not sure if that's what happened. We'll send the whole team to get the items."

"Fishlegs and the twins" Hiccup ordered them "you guys get the purple oleander and the bitterweed."

"Okay," Fishlegs says excitedly.

"I'll get the mucus with astrid." hiccup says as snotlout looks annoyed at hiccup. "You'll stay here with Sigrid to watch over her."

"What!? That's not fair!" Snotlout argued as I crossed my arms.

"I'm not staying here. I'm going with you hiccup!!" I said to him as he shook his head.

"You need to stay with your dragon, she's weak. You need to be there for her." Hiccup said as I hugged deadeye.

They all took off as I watched them. I sat down next to deadeye petting her.

"My good girl..." I said as I hugged her "You'll be okay. Just hang in there, you hear me?" I said as she whined. I rested my head on hers as my eyes closed and drifted off to sleep.

A soft shake awoke me.

"We have it." Snotlout says as I smile. "Now we just have to make this weird liquidish water."

"You mean we have to mix it?" I asked him, smirking as he rolled his eyes.

"Quickly, come on, let's get to the arena to mix it!" Astrid said as they all ran except hiccup. Hiccup helped me push deadeye to the arena, as I breathed heavily because of her weight. She whined as she hit the ground, weakly. "Pot!" Astrid said as they handed her a pot. "Bitterweed!" they handed her all of the items as she mixed and kept calling out for them. After she mixed them, stormfly lit a fire under it to boil it.

"How long is this going to be?" I said, anxious. "She's getting worse as I'm talking!" I looked at deadeye as her blue colour slowly dried out of her.

"Not too long." fishlegs responded as I sat down next to deadeye. "Just a few minutes." The pot started to boil as fishlegs walked up to it, examining it.

"No, that's not correct." Fishlegs says, tapping his index finger on his chin. "It needs more purple oleander"

"What?!" I said shocked "didn't you guys say you got all of it?"

"Yeah, we didn't find any anywhere else." tuffnut said as I groaned. I got up, walking in the direction of the forest. Astrid's hand stopped me by grabbing my hand.

"Where are you going?" She asked, raising an eyebrow. I looked at deadeye as she whined weakly as hiccup pet her softly, I sighed as astrid let go.

"I'm going to get that purple oleander for my dragon." I said as she looked confused at me.

"Sigrid, you can't." She said as hiccup got up, walking towards us. "You first of all don't have a dragon, we already searched for it and that deadeye needs you!"

"Who said you need a dragon to walk?" I said as hiccup sighed at the sight of us fighting. "I need to save her."

"I'm sorry but astrid is right." hiccup said as I looked annoyed at him.

"I don't care who is right and who isn't!" I said guilty as I watched deadeye. "I can't let her die." I turned around, running off into the wilderness.

"SIGRID!" I heard astrid yell as I ran deeper into the woods.

I have to find this. This is for deadeye. For everything she's done for me. I thought as I climbed some rocks, falling over onto the ground behind them. I got back up as I continued to run.

"Purple oleanders are normally found in... meadows and fields." I said to myself as I looked around myself. I ran north as I reached deeper into the woods. The trees were darker, the ground became a dark brown. I ran through the woods as I dodged the trees which were in my way. I breathed heavily as my feet ran as fast as they could. I looked around myself, directing north once more. I ran under some tree branch as I stopped and looked back at it. I shrugged as I turned around to face the way I was running to as another tree branch snapped and smacked me in the face. I yelped as I grabbed the branch, breaking it off of the tree and making it fall onto the ground. I continue to run away from the branches as I reach a cliff. I stumble around, trying not to fall down. I notice a huge shadow leaping above me. I look up to see hookfang with snotlout and next to them, stormfly with astrid.

"Sigrid!" snotlout said, relieved to see me. "What in odin's name were you thinking?!"

"You weren't thinking straight, that was the problem." Astrid says with an annoyed tone in her voice. I sighed as I looked down the cliff. Under were some small fields that were hard to get to with purple flowers. Purple oleander. I thought as I looked up at them. They saw that I was thinking about jumping down to it as they yelled at me. "Sister, are you joking?! Are you seriously going to go down there?!"

"I have to" I said looking up to her and down at the small fields. "It's for deadeye"

"She'll survive it!" Astrid argued "you won't!!" I backed up looking at astrid.

"We won't be sure of it until I try it!" I said, running to the cliff as I jumped. Snotlout yelled out as hookfang flew down to catch me, astrid not following him. I landed on the grassy land with a heavy thud. Hookfang stopped flying as snotlout got off of him, jumping and running over to me worried.

"Sigrid?!" He asked, shaking me. He turned me around as astrid flew down, she jumped onto the ground safely as she ran over to me. His eyes met mine as he sighed relieved. "Don't ever do that again. You could have gotten killed!"

"Are you okay?!" Astrid said as she sighed. "Oh my gods. I swear I'm about to kill you!"

"I-Im okay." I struggled to say as I sat up, looking around myself. "Where is that purple oleander?" I looked around myself, noticing a small, purple flower. I smiled at myself as I crawled over to it. I picked it out softly as I turned around to them "I have it" Snotlout smiled as astrid helped me up.

"You'll ride on stormfly this time. No running off." She said as she helped me on stormfly. I smiled at her as we flew back to the team.

"Guys, I found her." Snotlout said completely confident as hookfang breathed out a piece of fire on snotlout's helmet aggressively as snotlout yelped. "Hookfang! Whatever, We found her."

"Good." Hiccup said as I got off of stormfly.

"She jumped off a cliff though, nearly died and ran through a huge part of a deadly forest." Snotlout summed everything up as everyone except Astrid and snotlout looked shocked at me.

"It was worth it though, I got the purple oleander." I said smiling as I handed it to hiccup. Hiccup dropped it in the boiling pot as fishlegs stirred it with a stick.

"And that happened in like 3 minutes?" Tuffnut said, shocked as his sister gulped. "That's impossible."

"Yeah, liars!" Ruffnut said as she widened her eyes.

"What is it, my dear blood related sister?" Tuffnut asked, annoying as ever.

"They must be from the future, my dear blood related brother." Ruffnut said as tuffnut gasped "Or..."

"We are from the past!" Tuffnut said, gasping again. "Are you real?"

"I'm not sure, let's check!" Ruffnut said "Since we are twins, everything that happens to you, I feel it!"

"You mean if I hit myself?!" Tuffnut said, idiotically. "Okay, okay!!" He said excited as he smacked himself.

"Ow..!" Ruffnut said, pretending. "Harder" Tuffnut hit himself harder. It went on like that for a bit until tuffnut fell to the floor. Ruffnut laughed at her brother as he groaned.

"Anyways, let's give it to deadeye." Astrid said as fishlegs grabbed the pot. Fishlegs walked to deadeye as she drank it, after drinking it, she shook her head violently, her head fell to the ground as I ran to her. Water filled my eyes as I pet her.

"What did it do to her?!" I said loudly as fishlegs opened a book and flipped through the pages.

"It says that it normally needs a little bit to actually start working." Fishlegs says humming about the text.

"How long exactly?"

"Uh... not too long." He said as he read the text. I sighed sadly as I pet her.

"How much fishlegs?" I asked him, turning around to face him as he looked at me and the book.

"I-It doesn't say" Fishlegs says "it just says not too long. That would be some minutes right?"

"Not too long could be days, hours, minutes or seconds!" I said "even years."

"It's probably minutes." Astrid said, joining the conversation. I pet deadeye as she whined and fell asleep. I hugged her tightly as I stood up.

"We need to figure something out. Gang, to the clubhouse." Hiccup said as they all went. I helped deadeye on her feet as we walked slowly to my house. After I left deadeye there, I walked to the clubhouse. Once I arrived there, all eyes were on me.

"What're you talking about?" I asked them as I yawned.

"deadeye, gustav." Snotlout summed everything up for me.

"You." Hiccup added as I softly blushed.

"What about me?" I asked him as he looked me in the eyes.

"I- uh" He stuttered as he scratched the back of his neck "we were talking about... deadeye and you."

"I know that, but-" I said as a noise interrupted me. Some soldiers burst into the clubhouse as they grabbed us.
