"It had two heads, maybe three? And it made this weird sound, like nothing I've ever heard before." fishlegs described this 'dragon' or 'creature' he found while he was with meatlug. "It was like a..." fishlegs tried to describe but just roared weirdly and buzzing and whimpering.

"Oh my thor!" snotlout said annoyed. "That's incredible, fishlegs!"

"I know right!" fishlegs smiled.

"Wrong! Not getting me on loki day." snotlout smirked. "If it isn't already obvious to you all, I am way smarter than-" snotlout said before he stepped on a rope and got flung in the air as he hanged from the rope. The twins came from the sides laughing.

"LOKI'D!" they yelled as we just watched them.

"Ha ha ha! Fine, you got me. But I still don't believe fishlegs about that creature in the lagoon." snotlout pointed his hand towards fishlegs.

"Creature in the edge lagoon!" tuffnut said smirking "just when you thought it was safe to take a bath in a lagoon"

"Okay, any day now." snotlout complained as hiccup placed his hand on toothless as toothless blasted the rope to let snotlout go as he hit the ground. "Thanks. Much appreciated."

"Fishlegs are you sure this wasn't you just getting loki'd? It is loki day." I crossed my arms as he groaned.

"I didn't get loki'd then, it was real sigrid!" fishlegs argued. "Look, you can loki all you want, but I know what I saw."

"We've been swimming and fishing in that cove for months, fishlegs. Don't you think we would have seen something if there was something to see?" hiccup asked fishlegs.

"Are you sure it wasn't just the light coming through the fog?" Astrid also asked. "It can play really weird tricks. Especially at that hour."

"Sounds more like someone got loki'd by the fog." tuffnut rested his hand on his hip.

"It wasn't the fog, you guys!" fishlegs groaned. "There's something out there, something real! And, as usual, you won't believe it until I prove it."

"Pretty much." We all nodded as fishlegs sighed and walked off.

"The last time I saw the creature, it was heading for the deepest part of the cove." fishlegs says with a bucket of fish.

"Is it more like a big fish or a giant snake?" Astrid asked fishlegs.

"I don't know, it was hard to tell from underwater." fishlegs replied. "Everything kind of looked fuzzy and misshapen."

"You sure you weren't looking at meatlug?" snotlout chuckled.

"Ha ha, very funny" fishlegs gave snotlout side eyes.

"Well, whatever it is, we'll find it." hiccup said as I looked at my bucket of fish.

"Where did you two hide my axe?!" snotlout looked at the twins, annoyed. "I know it's loki day but come on, it's my favourite one!"

"Okay, let's fan out and look for the creature. Don't get too close to the water." fishlegs warned.

"How do we even know it's real?" snotlout complained.

"Because it bit me!" fishlegs showed snotlout the 'bite' which didn't look like a bite.

"That doesn't look like a bite, fishlegs. It looks more like a burn." I looked at his 'bite'.

"Grab your buckets! We're going to chum the water to see if it'll show itself again." hiccup frowned as we got closer to the cove.

"Not me, no way. Loki day trick" snotlout chuckled. "I can smell it from a mile away!"

We all turned to snotlout as I noticed how he was extremely closer to the cove than the rest of us.

"I mean, how dense does he think we are?" snotlout complained, looking up at us. I noticed a little shadow swimming through the water as I ignored it and raised an eyebrow at snotlout.

"Uh snotlout?" hiccup said as screeching was heard.

"What?!" snotlout snapped at hiccup. A huge splash came from the water as we all watched in shock as the creature jumped from the water, striking snotlout and hookfang with lightning and making snotlout talk gibberish.

"That's not a creature at all!" Fishlegs gasped.

"It's a dragon..." hiccup finished.

"And not just any dragon." I sighed "it's a seashocker."

"Oh oh oh!" fishlegs giggled "a seashocker right in our cove! And I found him!"

"You mean you trapped him!" I said angrily as fishlegs and hiccup looked confused at me. "Fishlegs, you know that you can't just trap a dragon in our cove! Even worse, a seashocker! What if that dragon is hurt? What if it got lost from its pack?!"

"Well if it's hurt we can help it." fishlegs replied.

"And you think it will just accept that? After what you did? It won't trust you to get near it since you trapped it, also it won't just get out of the water so that some human stranger can check on it. He doesn't know that we will help." I crossed my arms as fishlegs looked guilty.

"She does have a point, fishlegs." hiccup said. "I can't believe it though! If i hadn't seen it with my own eyes, i'm not sure if i'd believe it!"

"Right?!" fishlegs said excitedly. "Seashockers are extremely hard to spot because they hardly ever surface."

"Yes! Because they're deep water dragons!" hiccup crosses his arms excitedly.

"Exactly, that's why it didn't take my bait!" fishlegs explained.

"It only eats deep sea fish!" hiccup and fishlegs said at the same time as I groaned.

"Geek mode, fully engaged." snotlout said with his arms crossed, annoyed.

"Okay, can we step away from the onslaught of dragon knowledge?" tuffnut asked.

"With pleasure, brother." ruffnut said as she started to step back as tuffnut chuckled softly. Ruffnut continued walking back until she fell into a hole.

"LOKI'D!" tuffnut said laughing.

"What?! I thought we were on the same team!" ruffnut said from deep deep down.

"Sorry, sis. A team is only as strong as its weakest player." tuffnut extended his arms, stretching them out until they cracked.

"As soon as I get out of this hole, it is on!" ruffnut argued.

"Just wait until she sees the snake I put down there.." tuffnut said, chuckling as ruffnut yelled out.

"You are truly a master." snotlout smirked as the snake hissed.

"Jerk!" ruffnut yelled out.

"I think she saw it." tuffnut smirked.

"How lucky are we?!" fishlegs chuckled. "To be able to study a seashocker this closely!"

"Okay, but we have to be careful, we don't want to hurt the dragon." hiccup warned fishlegs.

"Oh, hiccup. When would I ever hurt a dragon?" fishlegs said as I raised an eyebrow at them both. We all flew into the air except the twins since ruffnut was stuck with a freaking snake. I saw the seashocker swim through the water.

"Look at how fluidly it moves through the water!" fishlegs giggled. "Truly masterful"

"What is it even doing here?" I asked them, watching the seashocker move through the water.

"It must've gotten separated from its pod." hiccup says.

"It looks kind of agitated." astrid added.

"Great idea, fishlegs! Let's mess with the angry zapper-heads." snotlout laughed sarcastically.

"Shut up snotlout before I purposely push you into the water" I warned him.

"Damn, who knew my future wife was so feisty?" Snotlout smirked as he winked at me as deadly flew over to hookfang.

"You stink. You should have a little shower." I said before I firmly pushed snotlout off of hookfang, sadly hookfang grabbed him before hitting the water.

"Hey!" he growled.

"Okay, let's not push anyone in the water.." hiccup calmed me down. "I think we should just help the seashocker out of the cove, it looks stressed."

"I know, I know, I know. But after I get some measurements." fishlegs said chirpy.

"astrid, can you position yourself near the tail..." fishlegs looked at me as I shot him annoyed looks.

"And then I'll go over here.." fishlegs wandered off on meatlug.

"He's not listening to you." snotlout reminded hiccup.

"I know"

"This is a really bad idea." snotlout complained.

"Yes it is."

"You should listen to me more often." snotlout smirked.

"Nah, I shouldn't." hiccup smirked as I laughed.

"Based on the sea shockers length and coloration... I'd say it's a healthy, young adult male." fishlegs said as they quickly moved since the shocker jumped up and back into the water.

"Woah, stormfly." Astrid calmed down stormfly.

"Alright, fishlegs, I think we've seen enough." hiccup told fishlegs.

"Don't worry, this kind of impulsive behaviour is completely age appropriate." fishlegs smirked as the shocker jumped back up and into the water as toothless shot a plasma blast at a rock, barely missing it. Stormfly and deadeye sharpened their tails in defence.

"Hey, hey deadeye. It's okay, girl" I calmed her down by petting her. The shocker jumped back up as deadeye shot spines at it, stabbing it's back. It screeched in pain as it went back into the water and stormfly shooting spines but missing the seashocker.

"No stop!" fishlegs argued.

"Hookfang! Calm down!" snotlout warned hookfang which was on fire. The sea shocker screeched as it flopped onto land, hurt.

"Oh no, he's hurt. Sigrid!" fishlegs said annoyed.

"Deadeye was just reacting to getting attacked!" I defended her.

"Yeah fishlegs! What did you expect?!" snotlout argued.

"Alright, everybody just calm down. We need to get the sea shocker back into the sea." hiccup said as we all flew down to it.

I watched fishlegs walking slowly to the shocker, trying to calm it down. I got off of deadeye as I crossed my arms. They both screeched and made an explosion, making fishlegs have to duck for protection, he got back up as fishlegs calmed them down more.

"Let's go start by blasting the cove open again." hiccup said as I got on deadeye and flew to the end of the cove. I blasted the gronckle made wall as I noticed fishlegs took out deadeye's spine as they screeched in pain. We all broke the way to let the seashocker out as fishlegs was flying on meatlug to the exit. The seashocker followed fishlegs as I heard familiar sounds.

"This way! This way to freedom! Come on!" fishlegs said. I noticed that the twins were back.

"What's going on?" tuffnut asked. "Don't ask about your huts."

"They can be fixed." ruffnut added.

"Never mind! We need your help to clear a path for the seashocker." hiccup explained. "Blast the last of the lava wall."

"How do we know this isn't a trick? And when we blast the wall the whole cove explodes?" tuffnut asked.

"Really?" hiccup asked unamused.

"That is stupid! Just do it!" I rolled my eyes. They started to explode the wall as fishlegs got closer.

"Alright, here they come." hiccup said as they got closer.

"Almost there, just a little-" fishlegs said but the seashocker stopped. "Wait, why are you stopping? Freedom awaits!" The shocker quickly turns around and swims the other way.

"Scauldrons!" I pointed out as the two scauldrons jumped out and back into the water.

"Oh no... Scauldrons are seashockers natural predators!" fishlegs said in shock.

"All the noise from blasting the wall must have drawn them in!" hiccup sighs.

"The wall..." fishlegs groans "the one i put there. Meatlug, what have we done?!" The scauldrons swam quickly after the seashocker as we all looked shocked. "We have to do something, hiccup! The seashocker can't take all these scauldrons all by himself!"

"Okay, spread out and flank the scauldrons! Just try and distract them." hiccup said as we all nodded and spread out, trying to distract them.

"It's two against one!" astrid announces.

"Every time it looks like he loses them, he zaps and more come!" fishlegs sighs.

"The scauldrons must track the shocker by following its shocks" hiccup realises.

"You stay away from him!!" fishlegs said loudly and followed the scauldrons. Meatlug smacks a scauldron to the water again as the red one nearly bites fishlegs, luckily toothless blasts a plasma blast at the two scauldrons.

"Phew! Thanks hiccup!" fishlegs smiled, relieved. "Where'd he go?" I noticed the shocker moving quickly for the exit.

"Over there! He's making a break for the opening!" I said out loud. "Two scauldrons, moving fast!"

"We'll lay down the fire, Sigrid, astrid cut them off!" hiccup said as we both nodded. Deadeye and stormfly flew but got cut off as me and astrid screamed out.

"LOKI'D!!" The twins laughed.

"What?! No! I can't believe you two loki'ing right now!" fishlegs said shocked.

"Sigrid's the crown jewel, fishlegs! And why not astrid too while you're at it, you know?" tuffnut laughed. "And when you have a shot at loki'ing sigrid, you've got to take it!" Me and Astrid got back up as I looked at them annoyed.

"We'll talk later!" I growled angrily at him.

"Oh, yes. We will." Astrid added as they both chuckled.

"Hiccup? Would you please tell them that they have to stop doing these loki tricks!?" fishlegs looked annoyed.

"Fishlegs, I actually think that loki might be the key to saving the seashocker!" hiccup smirked as we all looked shocked at him.

"You're actually losing it, right?!" I said extremely loud at him.

"Now we're talking!" tuffnut smiled.

"Aaah! I wouldn't get too excited if I were you." hiccup smiled.

"Why?" tuffnut asked, scared.

The twins were flying on barf and belch in the middle of the cove as they just talked.

"Hiccup, how can you just trust these two mutton heads to be able to do this?!" I asked him furiously.

"Just trust me." he simply said.

"Trust you?! You put the worst two people for this... plan!" I groaned. I watched them as tuffnut threw ruffnut's bucket of fish. "What did I just tell you?!" I placed my hands on my hips, annoyed. They screamed as we all flew towards the scauldrons. I dodged their boiling hot water, barely.

"Can someone please tell me why we're risking everything to help this thing?!" snotlout complained. We dodged the hot boiling water from the red scauldron again.

"They're underwater, I can't get a clear shot!" I sighed as I looked at the scauldrons.

"Ahh... they're in a feeding frenzy. It's too dangerous to get any closer." hiccup groaned. Meatlug and fishlegs looked into the water.

"What happened? Where did he go?" fishlegs asked, looking for the shocker. "Hiccup... did he just..." Hiccup looked down sadly as I looked down at the water.

"Oh man..." snotlout says.

"We tried everything, fishlegs." I sighed. "I'm sorry."

"Me too, fishlegs. I guess we should head back." hiccup said in a sad mood. We all nodded and flew back onto land.

"I'm not leaving." fishlegs said as hiccup stopped and looked over to fishlegs, I also stopped for fishlegs. "Not yet. This is my fault and if somehow, someway, he is still alive, then it is my responsibility to get him back to his pod."

"Fishlegs..." hiccup sighed.

"Hiccup, he is a fighter. He is going to make-" fishlegs said but got cut off by a splash from the water and the shocker jumped out of the water as he jumped over fishlegs and meatlug and landed in the water. "Yes! He lives! He lives! Fishlegs!" Fishlegs said happily. A screech came from behind fishlegs as we all looked at the scauldrons.

"Incoming! Yeah!" tuffnut yelled on belch as an electric eel was following a rope with a fish in the water, causing the scauldron to get its attention and follow the eel. The eel roared at the scauldron as the scauldron roared out in shock at it.

"Giant zapping eel!!" snotlout alerted.

"I'm pretty sure I said a few small eels." hiccup looked at the eel and at the twins.

"On loki day, you go big or you go home." tuffnut replied, smiling. I watched the scauldrons follow the giant, screaming, crazy, creepy, weird, scary, electric, hideous eel as it swims away, causing the scauldrons to follow it.

"It's working! The zapping eel is confusing the scauldrons." fishlegs smiled.

"Who knew you could loki scauldrons?" tuffnut asked.

"Now we know, all thanks to you two." I said.

"Thank you very much ms hofferson." ruffnut smiled as I returned it.

"Let's loki them even more. Come on, bud." hiccup smirked as toothless flew to the scauldrons.

"Go meatlug!" fishlegs pointed at toothless as they followed the scauldrons. We all started to fire at the water, missing the scauldrons on purpose to confuse them. I watched meatlug and fishlegs fly to the exit following the shocker as we continued firing.

"We did it hiccup! We saved him!" Fishlegs cheered as hiccup looked worried.

"Another scauldron" hiccup warned, annoyed at the scauldrons.

"Oh this is going to hurt..." fishlegs said as he jumped into the water as we all gasped.

"Fishlegs!" hiccup yelled after him. Fishlegs jumped out of the water in shock as he landed on the ground by the beach.

"Okay..." fishlegs groaned as toothless landed quickly and hiccup ran to fishlegs.

"Fishlegs are you alright?!" hiccup asked fishlegs as I landed next to toothless.

"That must have blown him twenty yards! New record!" ruffnut laughed.

"Don't worry, fishlegs. In time you'll be able to feel your legs again, I mean, probably." tuffnut crossed his arms, smirking.

"Fishlegs! That was awesome!" I cheered him on.

"That was one of the gutsiest moves I've ever seen, fishlegs!" Astrid smiled.

"Hey it's nothing I wouldn't have done!" Snotlout added.

"Then why didn't you do it?" I raised one of my eyebrows.

"Cause I wanted to give fishlegs a taste of a shot." snotlout looked away. "Tastes good doesn't it?"

"Yeah, that's what I thought." I crossed my arms. Fishlegs got back up as the shocker jumped up and back into the water, screeching happily. We all got on our dragons and watched the sea shocker get back with its pod as it swam away.

"Look at that, fishlegs! You did it. You've won!" astrid smiles.

"We did it," fishlegs smiled.

I smirked as I watched the twins walk to their huts.

"Now!" I told astrid as she pulled down a lever and tons and tons of fish were dropped onto their heads, causing them to collapse onto the floor.

"What?!" The twins looked at the fish. Astrid came to them laughing.

"LOKI'D!! HAHAHA!" Astrid laughed. Stormfly shot spines next to their feet causing them to run as traps were set on the floor and they jumped around. Tuffnut and ruffnut ran to the ladder as tuffnut fell onto the floor, ruff went carefully but fell down as hiccup and fishlegs laughed.

"LOKI'D!!" they both yelled laughing. Ruff and tuff ran into their house scared as deadeye grabbed the house carefully. It was already dark and I had the best idea. I flew to the top of a mountain as I set the twins' house on top. Tuffnut opened the door and looked out carefully. The twins looked at each other and back at me as I waved at them, smirking. I let the ropes off deadeye as they quickly went back inside, after some seconds they looked back outside as I flew away slowly.

"Loki'd!! Enjoy your new home, guys!! I heard that the neighbours are REALLY quiet! Hahaha!" I laughed and deadeye flew quickly back to the base. I heard tuffnut yell at me.

"EVIL GENIUS!!" tuffnut crossed his arms. "Damn it, why aren't you as good as her?!"

"Hey! I'm jealous of it too." ruffnut replied.

We attacked the hunters boat as meatlug ate a burning stone that was thrown at her.

"Arrows next!" I yelled out at them as they nodded. Arrows were shot at us as we all dodged them. I noticed my dad standing on his boat next to ryker and dagur. I flew over to them as arrows were shot at me but my dad stopped his men. "Father." I said quiet enough for him only to hear.

"Mmh. Asta." he replied.

"My name is sigrid. Si-grid." I frowned angrily.

"I don't care, asta." my dad said.

"Don't call me that, dad." I said.

"Okay, sure. Just remember you'll never beat me." he replied as arrows were shot at me but I dodged them. I softly growled at him as I flew back to the rest and destroyed the rest of the ships. Snotlout was for some reason of barf and ruffnut was on hookfang and stormfly shot a spine at windshear's tail since the other day we found out she was on the 'hunters team' but secretly with us.

"We have to pull heather out. If I hadn't reacted, heather's cover would have gotten blown." I said with arms crossed.

"I wanted her out weeks ago and somebody talked me into-" hiccup said but I interrupted him.

"I know I did, but things were different then." I sighed.

"How?" hiccup asked.

"It's way too dangerous."

"It's always too dangerous, sigrid." hiccup placed a hand on my shoulder.

"It's gotten crazy, hiccup. If something happens to Heather, if they find out she's on our side..." I sigh, not wanting to think what they would do to her.

"But they won't find out. Heather's smart, sigrid. She'll manage to survive this. Plus, she has windshear with her, don't you think she would help her?" hiccup smiled.

"What if she also gets captured? What if we need to save them both?" I looked down.

"Do you think Heather would let us get her out of there?" hiccup smiled as I didn't respond. "See? She wouldn't let us. We just need to trust her."

"Woo-hoo-hoo-hoo!!" Snotlout yelled with tuffnut as they played around. They started blabbering around as I rolled my eyes.

"I can't even think with these two mutton heads doing... that!!" I pointed my hand at them hugging each other very... weirdly. "Go somewhere else!!" I stormed off angrily as they laughed and continued running around.

Toothless and deadeye landed on the ground as windshear landed.

"You weren't followed?" I asked her and got off of deadeye.

"Positive." she replied as I smiled and ran to her, hugging her. I let go of her as hiccup walked up to the both of us.

"Besides, viggo suspects ryker and dagur. He wants me to go with him to capture the flightmare. Just me, windshear and him." Heather said with her hands on her waist.

"Flightmare? Why does Viggo want the flightmare?" Hiccup asked, shocked by her words.

"Hiccup, you're missing the point." Heather said.

"He does that a lot." I smirk, with my arms crossed as hiccup looks annoyed at me.

"No- No I don't!" hiccup said annoyed.

"Look, it's me, Viggo and windshear." Heather said as I realised it.

"Perfect time for an ambush." I said as they both looked at me as heather nodded.

"I agree, but how exactly does Viggo think the three of you are going to capture the flightmare?" Hiccup asked.

"You haven't met Viggo grimborn. He is a professional Dragon hunter." Heather says as I find myself nodding at her statement, luckily hiccup nor heather didn't see me.

"Right, but you're not actually going to let him capture it." Hiccup raised an eyebrow.

"Of course not. That's where the ambush comes in." Heather explains "you guys show up, grab viggo and we set the flightmare back in its path."

"Now all we have to do is find it." hiccup crosses his arms across his chest and looks over to me.

"It follows a stream of glowing algae as its food source." Heather explains "Last year, I spent a lot of time tracking it, pinning down its location every couple of weeks. I know where it should be and I gave that information to viggo."

"Which made him trust you even more." I said.

"Listen, I better get back. This is the algae trail." Heather shows us a map with a trail. "Follow it to here" heather pointed at a cross. "This is where we'll be."

"So will we." hiccup says firmly.

"Woah! Heather's tracking and mapping skills are extraordinary!" fishlegs says happily looking into her map. "Is there no end to that girl's talent?"

"Um can we just talk about the elephant in the sky for a second?" tuffnut asks as I raise my eyebrow at him confused.

"No!" hiccup replied.

"Cool." tuffnut responded "why do we think viggo wants the flightmare so badly?"

"Maybe viggo likes the way that algae makes you glow when you rub it all over yourself." ruffnut shrugged. Tuffnut laughed as hiccup turned around to face them.

"You know what? You may not actually be that far off. He's gotta be using it's algae or paralysing spray for something." hiccup looked down as he thought. The mist, using it for something... the dragon eye! I thought.

"We could ask him ourselves, if we were waiting for him when he gets there." I said and flew faster to the island as everyone followed me quickly. We landed on the ground as fishlegs and hiccup stood on the edge, looking towards the algae.

"There." hiccup pointed out to the glowing dragon. Me and that dragon did not have a good history together. "Stay together" I watched the flightmare eat its glowing algae. "We need to make sure Viggo doesn't get near that dragon."

"How will we know when viggo gets here?" fishlegs asks. Toothless growls out towards the sea as we see a ship from afar.

"He already is." I frowned as I looked at the flightmare.

"Okay, ruff, tuff. Make sure you get enough algae-" hiccup said as he took out a small bag for them.

"To lure the flightmare away. We know." ruffnut finished and aggressively grabbed the bag out of hiccup's grasp.

"Ugh this guy never stops. 'Lure the flightmare, don't eat the algae'!" tuffnut pointed his hand at hiccup as he walked the other direction.

"Ridiculous! I mean, why would we eat the algae?" ruffnut asked, offended for some dumb reason as tuffnut and ruff widened their eyes and smirked.

"Mmh... why wouldn't we eat the algae?" they both said at the same time and got on their dragon and flew off. I noticed multiple boats coming slowly to the island.

"Uh hiccup?" I announced as he looked over to me. "You might want to see this.." I looked out to the multiple ships.

"Hiccup you might want to see this too!" fishlegs said as hiccup ran to him and looked over to all of the ships.

"I don't understand. I thought heather and viggo were coming alone" snotlout pouted.

"They were. Which probably means they're not coming at all." hiccup says as catapults were shot at us. "Everyone look out!" We all got on our dragons and flew into the sky as we watched the boats drifting through the water rapidly to the island. I noticed the twins getting followed by the flightmare as I sighed softly to myself. Arrows were shot at us as we dodged them all, me and astrid took out our axes and blocked the arrows with our axes.

The flightmare followed the twins in front of us as hiccup looked at them.

"Not the way I would have done it, but that's one way to go." hiccup smiles. We continued dodging everything as heather came up to us.

"Heather?! What happened?" I asked her as she sighed.

"Viggo already knew I was a traitor. He set this up!" Heather exclaimed.

"Hiccup there's too many!" Astrid breathed heavily. The sky was all light neon blue of the flightmare as the flightmare passed me and noticed me, growling it was about to launch at me with its mist as it remembered the twins and followed it.

"What was that?!" Astrid looked at me.

"Let's just say me and the flightmare do not get along well." I sighed.

"That's great! We could use you as a distraction!" fishlegs said as we all looked at him, shaking our heads.

"As a human shield? No thank you." I frowned.

"The flightmare isn't really helping!" fishlegs said.

"We'll be fine as long as we don't get near its mist." hiccup said as toothless shot a plasma blast at the ships.

"Hiccup, can't you just let it know we're good guys?" tuffnut asked, full of glowing algae.

"Yeah, tell it to come for the big win." ruffnut agreed as the mare looked at them angrily.

Hiccup looked around as his eyes landed onto the algae.

"You guys are brilliant!" he smiled happily with an idea.

"I don't know about brilliant, but we do have a certain glow about us." tuffnut laughed "get it? Because of our faces?"

"And the brilliance is short-lived. Follow me!" hiccup said as we followed him, the mare followed us. We all dropped the little bags full of glowing algae onto the boats as they all laughed. The flightmare started throwing the men around, looking for its food.

"Ryker, dagur, i'd like you to meet my friend, the flightmare." hiccup smirked. We all continued to drop the bags as the flightmare did the job for us.

"I'm so sorry, hiccup. Viggo. He made me.." heather said to hiccup.

"I know. I know. It's okay, he tricked us all. Where is he now?" hiccup calmed her down. Hiccup was so gentle, so kind to her.

"Still on his ship, I think." Heather sighed and pointed at a ship. The flightmare flew higher again as it saw me. Why didn't it go for its source? I thought. Or if it's goin for me.. I flew down quickly flying over the ships, trying to get it to go for its glowing algae. It sped up.

"SIGRID!!" I heard a voice yell which was from hiccup.

"No!" Astrid yelled. The flightmare launched at me mid-air and threw me off of deadeye, causing me to land onto Viggo's ship.

"Aah. My dear asta." dad said as I winced but got back up. I noticed that they surrounded deadeye as dad walked up to me. The rest of the gang landed onto the ship.

"My name is... sigrid!" I growled as I grabbed my axe and launched at dad, he turned me around and grabbed me by the axe with both hands, not letting go, i was stuck with him.

"Don't they know yet?" dad asked as I looked down.

"Know what, sigrid?" hiccup asked, raising one eyebrow.

"That sigrid isn't who you think she is." dad replied as they all looked at each other. "Come below, to my room." Some guards pushed us under the boat into his room as they all started madly at him, with crossed arms.

"What is it? Why should we believe anything you say?" hiccup frowned.

"Well, asta- sorry, Sigrid here is going to explain it all to you." Dad looked at me, smirking. "Will you believe her then?"

"Only if she speaks the truth." Astrid frowned.

"Fine by me. Sigrid, start, or should I?" viggo asked as I looked down. "Fine, suit yourself. It all began when Sigrid's real name was asta. Not Sigrid, I don't even know what kind of name that is, but she chose it. Her real name is asta grimborn. She is my daughter." Everyone widened their eyes as I looked guilty.

"That's not true! Sigrids name is Sigrid hofferson! He's lying. She's a hofferson." fishlegs crossed his arms.

"Actually it is asta. I'll finish the story. I used to have a mother, a kind, beautiful, gentle mother. She died because of me. She died because of a dragon attack. This is why my dad hates dragons and captures them. If only my mother was here she would have stopped him. My dad and uncle banned me from home and abandoned me since I had deadeye with me and wasn't a dragon hunter, but before that, before deadeye, I was the greatest hero. The greatest dragon hunter anyone could ever imagine. I stopped it all when deadeye came along when I was about 10. My uncle and father didn't accept me and sent me away onto an 'abandoned' island. That's berk. Astrid's parents found me and raised them themselves and named me Sigrid 'hofferson'. I never want to remember my past and I don't see Viggo as a father, but a traitor and a lying disgraceful idiotic human!" I growled at my dad. "But I'm not like him. I promise. Viggo is a horrible person who captures innocent dragons. I save them, we're nothing alike. Trust me" They all looked at me shocked.

"Sigrid- I mean...." hiccup said.

"Asta.." I solved it for him.

"Asta, why didn't you tell us? How can this professional dragon hunter be your dad? Is this why he wanted you in the first place?" hiccup asked as I nodded.

"We're nothing alike. Really." I sighed. "He is horrible, I'm not, I save dragons and he captures them and uses them!"

"Really? That's how you explain how my personality is?" my father asks me. "Even though I might be a horrible father, I did miss you every day of my life and I did regret sending you to berk."

"Then why did you send me in the first place?!" I yell angrily at him.

"Asta, you know I couldn't keep a dragon lover as a daughter!" my dad snaps at me. "You know that, everyone knows that! A dragon hunter's daughter can't love a dragon!"

"Bring in the flightmare." Ryker crossed his arms, smirking as I looked at the guards leaving.

"Dad, no. Why would you even do this?!" I turned to him.

"Why do you even need the flightmare?" hiccup asked viggo as I answered him.

"When the dragon eye was first built by my ancestors, they put the snow-wraith tooth as a key for it. But also an emergency key. A glow from the flightmare was all it took." I sighed as the lightmare barged in.

The guards pulled down a lever as the flightmare shooted its mist at all of us. Leaving us stuck and paralysed. My dad walked over to me.

"It was nice talking to you again." my dad said as he looked at me. "Remember, asta. Don't even think about grabbing this from my hut again. I will get it back." They all walked away as the guards laughed at us and walked after Viggo, dagur and Ryker leaving us behind.

We all started to be able to move again as we walked back to the top of the ship. The twins and fishlegs had gone to find viggo if they could.

"You're Viggo's daughter?!" snotlout yelled, shocked at me.

"Yes..." I replied.

"And you've never told us this?!"

"Never... because how would you guys react? Your enemy's daughter fights with you. That's not something to just find out any day. I hoped that you guys don't find out, ever." I sighed and rubbed one of my hands on my other arm. I felt a gentle, warm hand resting on my shoulder.

"It's okay. You've fought enough with us to know that you mean no harm and that you're a dragon rider. I just would like it more if you would have told us before. Not now." hiccup smiled as I returned it.

"Uh hello?! It's not okay! She could be with the dragon hunters all these years ang capture us any second!" snotlout crossed his arms.

"I won't, snotlout. Seriously, after all these years you don't trust me anymore?" I asked him as he looked annoyed but guilty at me.

"We have to put this away, sigrid- I mean asta. We need to figure out a plan. Viggo has the dragon eye, and the flightmare." hiccup scratches the back of his neck. "I mean how did he even get out?! How did we lose heather, windshear and the flightmare?!"

"I don't even want to think about what they're going to do with her..." astrid sighed.

"And the dragons.." I added.

"You guys find anything?" hiccup asked fishlegs.

"No, the fog was too quick and thick. They used it as a cover and just vanished." fishlegs got off of meatlug.

"We should've just pulled heather out, hiccup." I sighed as I looked down. "I knew something like this was going to happen-" I said but hiccup placed a hand on my shoulder.

"Asta, she wouldn't have come with us." hiccup said as I felt his other hand brush past my hand.

"It could have been worse, we could have brought the dragon eye." tuffnut said with a glowing face and ruffnut hit him with her elbow as he yelped.

"How do you know I didn't bring the dragon eye?" hiccup asked with his arms crossed.

"How did I know you didn't bring the dragon eye...?" tuffnut repeated with guilt in his eyes as ruffnut hit him again with her elbow and he yelped again.

"Yeah, okay. You're right. I didn't bring the dragon eye." hiccup rested his hand on his hip.

"Thank thor." I said.

"Wait, so are we going to just ignore the fact that Sigrid is Viggo's daughter?!" snotlout whined.

"My name is asta, snotface." I rolled my eyes. "Besides, you've fought with me for so long. Why wouldn't you trust me? I'm on the good side. Not on my dads side."

"Sure!!! And my name is snotlout!" snotlout crossed his arms.

"Besides all of that. The dragon eye is on the edge. Unguarded." hiccup added.

We got on the edge as we noticed everything destroyed.

"Look at this! I feel violated!!" fishlegs sighed at all the wood pieces, thrown onto the ground.

"This is the last part of viggo's part." hiccup looked out to the sea with his arms crossed as I stood next to him. Deadeye sniffed around and growled out to the sea. I pet her, calming her down.

"Lead us away so the rest of the hunters and armada could stay behind and come after the dragon eye." snotlout sighed as he dropped a piece of wood.

"How did I not see that?" hiccup asked himself.

"None of us did.." I rested my hand on his shoulder. We all quickly ran to hiccup's room, searching for the dragon eye.

"It's gone. They got it." hiccup sighed, angrily at himself.

"Are you sure you put it away after you got it from the twins?" snotlout leaned against the door frame.

"Got it back from the twins?" hiccup frowned.

"What are you talking about?" I asked snotlout as he smirked.

I looked around in the cave as hiccup crossed his arms at it.

"Wow. They really wrecked this place." hiccup looked around the cave.

"This is pretty much how we left it." snotlout rolled his eyes.

"Except I don't remember that sword being there." tuffnut pointed at a sword, stabbed through an apple which was in a yak's mouth.

"No, no, no, no. Remember, we were playing Pirates vs Vikings?" snotlout reminded tuff. "And Bjorn was the pirate captain!"

"Oh-oh! Right!" tuff chuckled. "That is one great game! Yeah this is pretty much how we left it." tuff walked over to a pile of who knows what it was and grabbed out the dragon eye.

"What on earth is on there?!" hiccup exclaimed.

"Boar rind grease. Don't worry. It'll buff out." tuff shrugged. Tuff spat on his hand and wiped the dragon eye, smearing it over his sister's back not long after. "See? Well it takes a while." he said while his sister looked disgusted. Hiccup grabbed it disgustingly.

"I can't believe you took this without telling me!" hiccup groaned. "You know, all you had to do was ask and you could've used it, it belongs to all of us."

"Yeah, you two, do you know what would have happened if Viggo got a hold of this?" snotlout said to the twins.

"Seems to me, If i hadn't removed the dragon eye from the masterful hiding place, we'd be having a very different conversation right now!" ruffnut pointed at hiccup. Hiccup rolled his eyes as leaned against the stone. I watched him as the twins fought, astrid and snotlout were fighting and fishlegs was with meatlug. I walked over to hiccup, placing a hand on his shoulder.

"Hey, are you okay?" I asked him as he tensed up at my touch.

"Yeah.... No." he admitted and walked off with me. "Asta, I let it happen. I put heather and windshear in that position. I risked the dragon eye getting taken. I fell for Viggo's plan. It's a mess." he sighed as toothless snorted.

"Your right. But, if there's a mess, we clean it up." I smiled at hiccup "all of us. Together." I said with my hands on my hips as the rest of the gang walked up to us.

"We can get the A team from berk and load up whatever weapons we can and go in, dragons blazing." fishlegs hyped meatlug and hiccup up.

"Can I bring macey? She has been begging to go on a mission." tuffnut asked as I smiled and nodded.

"No, no we're not going anywhere." hiccup said as my smile faded. "Nobody is going anywhere. Not yet anyway. We do what we do really well. We're a pretty smart group. We're fast, we're fearless and we ride dragons. But this guy, Viggo, he manipulated us like we were a bunch of inexperienced little kids. If we have any chance against him, we can't go in, dragon blazing like we always do. No, that could get heather and windshear killed. That could get one of us killed."

"Well I for one, am definitely against us getting killed. Or at least my getting killed." tuffnut put his hands on his hips.

"Yep, I have to agree. And not just because we're twins and we always think the same thing."

"So you just want to leave viggo to hunting and hurting dragons at will?" Astrid asked. "You want to do nothing?"

"I want to do the right thing. And that is going to take some thinking." hiccup said.

"Hiccup, what are we doing?" I asked him, mid-air. We were flying over the water.

"Before we face Viggo again, we need to learn more about him." hiccup responded. "Let's take another look at his ship. Maybe we missed something."

"We've been in this place before, hiccup." I said while looking at the cyan, dragon-proof bars. "They took everything with them."

"You ever notice, Your dad never really puts himself in danger?" hiccup asked as toothless sniffed the bars and side eyed them.

"He's smart. He doesn't usually put himself in danger, only if he needs to really. He never shows himself to his victim." I replied, nodding.

"He fights with his intellect." hiccup turned to me. "Planning every move, accounting for every scenario. Take heather"

"You think he knew she was working with us." I cross my arms.

"I think at some point he found and used her to manipulate us." hiccup nodded. Toothless looks at a corner and growls. "Whatcha got there, bud?" hiccup asks as we walk over to toothless. We notice a small box, covered by a beige blanket. I dragged the blanket off of the box and I looked at the box.

"Maces & Talons." hiccup says, shocked.

"The 'viking king'. That's supposed to be you, trying to save the traitor. That's the chief of the marauders, in other words, my dad." I frowned. I picked up the 'traitor' and looked at it closely. "The traitor, in other words, heather. It's almost like he wanted you to see this."

"It's a challenge, from him to me. He's daring me to play." hiccup looks at the traitor.

"Why did he break heather's piece?" I ask.

"Because the traitor dies, the traitor always dies at the end." hiccup grabbed the traitor's figure and dropped it onto the land where it was first.

"Hiccup! Maces & talons!" fishlegs yelped happily. "Does this mean..."

"No, fishlegs!" hiccup stopped him.

"But maces & talons was designed-" fishlegs said but I cut him off.

"Fishlegs! Shut up! This is more important than what it is designed for!!" I snapped as he shut up.

"For chiefs-" fishlegs added but I shot him glares as he finally shut up.

"Fishlegs, I'm not taking over berk-" hiccup groaned. "Viggo left this for me. He wants me to play Maces & Talons with him."

"Viggo's here?" tuffnut asked from who knows where.

"We go next!" ruffnut cheered.

"Guys, no no, he's not here and we're not using the board." hiccup said, expanding his arms to protect the board. "We're playing for real, with real people." hiccup added as they walked off. "Viggo's forcing my hand. He's making me play him for heather's life." hiccup grabbed the traitor's figure, looking at it.

"And what happens if you don't play?" fishlegs asked.

Hiccup frowned and dropped the traitor's piece onto the land in the middle. Fishlegs gasped, scared as I widened my eyes.

"Hiccup, no, no, no! You just have to play!" I grabbed onto his arm as he looked down to his arm and back to me, blushing.

"And we need a strategy." snotlout placed his hand on his chin, scratching his non-existent beard.

"We do, snotlout. And that strategy has to be different than any that he has seen or tried." hiccup placed one hand on the board and the other softly placed behind my waist, so no one saw. I blushed at his touch. "Otherwise, heather won't stand a chance." hiccup looked at me.

We were flying through a cloud as we exited it. It was dark and I was watching hiccup.

"All right! Remember guys, viggo is a master of deception. We have to be one step ahead of him at all times or it's game over.

"Sounds a little to me like it's already 'game over'." tuffnut said.

"Yep, that was my interpretation." ruffnut agreed. Arrows were shot from under the clouds as we dodged them.

"Woah! Where are those coming from?" fishlegs asked, shocked.

"Beneath the clouds, they must have ships down there." I tried to look through the clouds.

"How did they know we were up here?" fishlegs asked as I noticed a warm fire behind me. I looked behind me as I noticed hookfang on fire, snotlout heating himself up.

"Aaah" snotlout sighed in relief, rubbing his hands together. "What? I was chilly! Now I'm warm and toasty!"

"Please never say that again!" I groaned and we continued to dodge the arrows.

"We must be close to the island." hiccup said as I gave him the 'no way, really?' look.

"Uh hiccup?" Astrid said as we noticed Viggo's base beneath us.

"Are you sure that's it?" fishlegs asked. "It looks kind of deserted." Fishlegs widened his eyes as fire was fired in front of him. "And I stand corrected!" He put his helmet back on correctly. A typhoomerang was firing as a man grunted, stabbing it as the typhoomerang fired at us again. We dodged it as more typhoomerangs fired at us.

"He's using flipping typhoomerangs as blow torches?!" snotlout said, shocked.

"I thought you liked it toasty?" I asked him, raising my eyebrow.

"I like toast-y not toast-ed!!" he added.

"I have to say, you totally undersold this guy, hiccup." Tuffnut said as he dodged the fire. "He's way more devious than-"

"LOOK OUT!" hiccup yelled as we dodged the fire. I dodged the fire, barely.

"Maybe we should turn back? Find a place to re-group. There's no way to get through that!" Astrid said but I shook my head.

"No!" I said "that's what he wants you to do. We can't go!" I looked around as we were surrounded by fire.

"I agree. All this is just a distraction." hiccup said.

"It's fire, hiccup. Actual fire!" snotlout whined.

"I'm going to have to concur on that one." tuff said, looking at his helmet on fire.

"What I mean is, viggo doesn't want us to retreat. It just seems that way. He wants us to get past and firing arrows." hiccup explained. "He wants me to find heather. And then his game really begins."

"Well if he wants us to get through, he's got a funny way to show it." snotlout said, dodging fire.

"He doesn't want us to get through, he wants us to go around and attack him from the back." hiccup said.

"Oh, that sounds way better. But that's not what we're doing, is it?" snotlout frowned annoyed.

"Nope!" hiccup says, thinking.

"How about flying through it?" I added as everyone but hiccup looked shocked at me. "It's a tornado type of fire anyways, if we get through it without touching the fire we'll be fine, it'll be hot. He'll never expect it."

"That's an amazing idea, asta!" hiccup smiles.

"Is she crazy?!" snotlout yelled out. "Inside it?! This whole plan sounds completely theoretical!"

"My fine sister and I have performed a feat of daring many times throughout the history of nut." tuffnut said.

"Yeah! For fun, it works!" ruffnut agreed. "As long as you don't panic while you're inside."

We all looked shocked at her but ignored it. We all flew inside one tornado from every typhoomerang as I noticed snotlout yelling loudly, the twins standing on their dragons- and fishlegs yelling loudly all from my tornado. I noticed the heat as I sighed, it was so hot. I wasn't very good in the heat, my eyes started going black but I opened them quickly again.

"Come on, deadeye." I pet her "we have to do this, for heather."

The fire started stopping as I smirked. I winked at the men as deadeye fired at them. I watched the rest as snotlout started saying weird things.

"Hello boys. How's it going? Fire!" snotlout said, the first part is was bit seductive.

"You guys go free the typhoomerangs! I'm going to go find heather." hiccup said and flew off as we freed the typhoomerangs.

"And hurry!" I yelled towards hiccup as he nodded quickly, before vanishing into the night.

"Guys!! Out of the way!" Hiccup exclaimed as I raised my eyebrow at him.

"What? We just got here" ruffnut said, confused. The flightmare showed up from a cave and started flying around

"This isn't a very fun reunion!" tuffnut exclaimed as the flightmare flew after the twins. The flightmare shot its mist at them, causing them to fall.

"Over here!" fishlegs yelled, causing the flightmare to turn to fishlegs and follow him. I flew over to hiccup, giving him the 'what happened' look. The mare shot its mist at fishlegs and meatlug flew quickly higher as snotlout got hit by the mist and fell.

"We need to get this thing out of here, back on his food trail." hiccup said as the flightmare looked viscously at us. A familiar girl and her dragon flew in front of me and hiccup.

"Heather!" I said happily but shocked.

"Don't hurt it, girl. We just need to scare it off." Heather said as windshear shot spines at it, missing it. Deadeye fired next to the flight mare as the mist was shot at me. Deadeye quickly moved up as I accidentally grabbed onto the saddle firmly, causing her to look at me worryingly as I fell out of the saddle.

"ASTAA!" hiccup yelled as he flew as quickly as he could to me.

Hiccup grabbed me as I sat behind him, grabbing onto hiccup's torso.

"Thanks.." I mumbled as he nodded. Deadeye got the mist since the mare shot it again, causing her to fall into the ocean. I jumped off toothless, attempting to grab her. I fell into the ocean as I swam towards her quickly. I grabbed onto deadeye as toothless jumped into the water and grabbed deadeye, dragging her onto land, I landed onto the ground, coughing. Hiccup ran over to me as I was coughing. He grabbed me, hugging me closely. The mist was shot at hiccup, me and toothless as it took over and we stood still, not being able to move. The other surrounded it as it got scared and flew off the other direction. The mist started to cool off as hiccup continued hugging me.

"Hiccup..." I whispered to him which made him tense up.

"Oh right, sorry. Are you okay?" He asked me as he let go of me but still grabbed me. I coughed a bit but nodded.

"I'm fine, really." I said as I got up.

"He got the dragon eye, didn't he?" I asked him as he looked at me and back at the sea. "We'll get it back, hiccup." I put my hand on his hand as he looked at me, his cheeks heating up. "Trust me."
