They bound Kay’s hands behind her back and dragged her away once they got away from the castle, they put her in a cart and blindfolded her before they took off. Kay paid attention and stayed calm as they went tracking where they went. Once there they led her out and took her to a room where they left her. when she heard the door shut, she moved and shifted to get her hands in front of her so she could remove the blindfold she then grabbed the knife she kept at her thigh to cut the ropes.
Once she was free, she began to work on getting out of the room. Then one of the men came in with a plate when he saw she was free he shut the door and locked it before letting the others know. The next thing Kay knew a vent opened and a cloud of smoke started to come in. As she tried to see if she could stop it, she found she was feeling weaker. So, she backed away from the smoke.
Meanwhile, Elliott had seen Kay’s mood shift as she was looking towards the door before, she left so, he decided to check on her and signaled to Dillon, who followed. As they headed for the door Lucas noticed and was curious but didn’t follow, he figured Elliott just wanted to talk to Kay. When Elliott and Dillon made it outside, they didn’t see Kay or Alice so, they started to look for them. Suddenly Alice came around the corner and bumped into Dillon, he caught her and help her stand back up and released her. she didn’t know Dillon and didn’t know if she could trust him or not.
Then Elliott walked up and said, “Princess Alice, you probably don’t remember me but I’m Elliott. Kay is currently one of my soldiers. I was looking for her, have you seen her? I saw her come out here but not where she went after that.” Alice and Dillon were surprised Elliott could tell between Alice and Kay when most couldn’t. Before Alice could say anything, they could just barely hear fighting, they all looked in the direction of the sound. Then Elliott said, “Dillon take Alice inside to Lucas let him know you heard some fighting. I’m going to take a look.” Dillon wanted to stop him but knew he wasn’t going to be able to so, he said, “Princess Alice, please come with me.”
