Lucas smiled and said, “life will make you feel like that sometimes it’s best just to learn from it and move on. At least if you learn from it then you can try to not make the same mistakes again.” Kay smiled a little and said, “you’re right but still if I had beaten them from the start.” Lucas smiled and cut her off and said, “then you wouldn’t be human and I would be having someone look into that.” Kay laughed a little and Lucas said, “humans have limits they make mistakes that’s part of life learning from those mistakes is what helps us grow and, in some cases, that’s what helps us break through our limits. If nobody made mistakes then the world would be perfect and nothing would improve everything would stay as it is and that would be boring.” Kay smiled and said, “I’m sure there would still be problems to solve even if everyone was perfect.”
Lucas said, “if everyone was perfect then problems would never happen meaning nothing would need to be fixed.” Kay nodded and said, “okay I’ll try to remember that.” Lucas smiled and said, “come on let’s go eat.” They turned and headed for the dining hall everyone was already there and waiting for them. Lilly and Alice came up and took her hands and had her sit next to them so they could talk more before she had to leave.
