Elliott then said, “actually I was told Kay here was skilled with a sword and I was hoping she would have the time to have a match or two with me if she wasn’t busy. I have beaten all of my men and need to practice with someone with more skill than them.” Kay tried to hide her smile and said, “I might win. Are you not afraid of being beaten by a girl?”
Elliott turned to her and smiled gently and said, “if you can beat me, you are a skilled fighter, your gender doesn’t matter on this. So, no I don’t mind if I get beaten by a skilled fighter.” Kay smiled a little at Elliott and said, “Okay then I don’t mind beating you then.” Her smile infuriated Xavier and he was even angrier when Elliott smiled back and said, “great but we will see who wins in the end. Are you available now or later?”
Before Kay could say anything, Xavier said, “Kay, weren’t you just heading to practice your archery?” Kay flinched at Xavier’s voice and said, “yes I’m heading there now.” Elliott kept his smile and said, “later then?” Kay smiled and said, “right, we’ll fight later.” She didn’t know why but she always seemed to lose herself around Elliott and the thought of fighting him later made her happy.
Kay headed straight for the archery range to practice, as Xavier said, “she won’t be helping you later she has a lot of practicing to do for archery. She doesn’t have time to play with swords.” Elliott was about to say something when a messenger came up and said, “the king and queen require your presence, young princes.” They both knew that they didn’t have a choice when the messenger said require. So, they didn’t ask questions and just headed to the throne room.
As they entered the room their parents quit talking and waited for them to come closer. The kings name was Alexander he had black hair like Elliott but had sky-blue eyes like Xavier.
