Ben smiled at Kay and said, “We’re all fine. Helen wouldn’t let us be anything else. We just got back from restocking so no, we don’t need anything. Thank you for asking though.” Kay relaxed a little and said, “Good I’m glad to hear. When will you guys be heading back?” he smiled and said, “We should be heading back about the same time as you. Helen said the plant she’s been waiting for should be just about strong enough then to move home and survive to transport.”
Elliott asked, “What plant?” Kay smiled and said, “Helen is an herbalist. There is a plant she’s been trying to get to grow for some time now but it has to start in a mountainous area before she can take it to Serpent’s sanctuary. Unfortunately, I don’t know much about the plant she hasn’t told me much but she says it is rare and she wants to study it more closely. She got some seeds for it a few years ago and has been trying to figure out a way to grow it. Sounds like she succeeded.” Ben said, “Yes, she’s finally got one to sprout now we’re just waiting for it to be ready to move.” Kay smiled bigger and said, “That’s wonderful you’ll have to let me know how it goes when you get it back home.” Ben said, “I’m sure Helen would love to tell you all about it.”
Kay smiled and said, “I can’t wait.” Ben then smiled and asked, “Have you been staying out of trouble or have you been pulling stupid stunts again.” Kay rolled her eyes and said, “I don’t get up to crazy stunts.” Ben and his men laughed and Ben said, “Of all your siblings you are the worst about doing crazy things.” Kay shook her head and said, “I don’t know what you’re talking about even if I did that’s an unfair comparison considering I’m the oldest. Of course, I would have done more if I had more years to do it.”
Ben and his men laughed and Ben said, “Okay whatever you say. We should get back the others will think we got in a fight or something and if we take too long, they’ll try to save us.” Kay smiled and said, “You’re probably right and I don’t want to be on Helen’s bad side I could probably take her in a fight but she still scares me sometimes.”
