He said you would be better suited for the job. I let him know I would need to test your skills myself before I make any decision, but I also wanted to ask you if that is something you would even be interested in?”
Kay was surprised as she listened to him, she mentally shook herself and said, “I don’t want to take anyone’s position but I don’t mind giving my advice if you need it or if the situation calls for it.” Elliott smiled and said, “it would be good to hear your advice on plans. Though if you change your mind let me or Dillon know.” She smiled and agreed before she could say anything else a man came up to them his name was Lucas. He was the only prince of serpents sanctuary, he had strawberry-blonde hair and Sky-blue eyes. He had just ditched his escorts to find Kay when he saw her talking to Xavier, he could tell she was on edge, he was interested to see what they were talking about and hid close by but out of sight he was about to interrupt them when he noticed Prince Elliott help her, he listened to them for a moment.
He smiled when he saw how relaxed and happy Kay was then decided to get the jump on her knowing it probably wasn’t going to go well. So, he stayed a good enough distance back and said, “well, well, well look what I found. Little Kay actually smiling in public that is a rare find.” Kay and Elliott both jumped not realizing someone had come up. Kay spoke without thinking too much and said, “Lucas what the hell are you doing? Where are your attendants?”
