Penny and Lee were surprised and Lee asked, “How do we deliver it to Princess Kaycee she doesn’t come out much and she’s still out of the kingdom right now?” Kay smiled and said, “Give it to Prince Lucas or one of the guards we will put your seal on it so they don’t question it. Just say it is some things you had been wanting to discuss with her but hadn’t had the time and if she has any questions about it to write them down and send them to you.” Lee nodded and said, “Okay then follow me.” Lee took Kay and Elliott to his home chapel where he sometimes held small weddings for people from the town. When they got there they said their vows and when it came to the kiss Kay could tell he wanted to kiss her lips but he decided to kiss her cheek instead.
As he moved to kiss her cheek she moved and kissed his lips he was surprised and her cheeks started to warm up as she quickly turned away. Elliott wanted to ask her about it but just assumed she was going to kiss his cheek and they just went the same way. He signed the papers and Penny signed as a witness then everyone stepped back to where they could see Kay sign it but not what she wrote. They watched as she sealed it in an envelope and gave it to Lee. Then she walked over to Elliott and gave the other to him and said, “This will be safer with you.”
He took it and put it away before saying “We should probably head back soon the others will be looking for us.” They went to their room and gathered their stuff. Before they left Elliott paid Lee for helping during the storm and for the wedding. Then Elliott took Kay’s hand and said, “Come on, they should be finding a safe way down by now.” Kay nodded and they said bye to Lee and Penny and thanked them again for their help before heading back to where they were going to stay last night.
