Kay’s instincts told her to run but Xavier blocked the door and there was no easy way out at this time so she said, “I’m sorry but that is not my decision to make so if you’ll excuse me, I need to pack.” Her heart was racing as he came closer, she couldn’t attack him because he was the prince but she couldn’t escape either. she wasn’t sure what to do as he lifted her chin, she was already next to the wall she couldn’t go any further back and she couldn’t get around him so all she could do was glare at him as he moved closer to her. Then Elliott knocked on the door and said, “Kay it’s Elliott, I came to show you to your new room may I come in.” Kay quickly said, “yes.”
Xavier glared down at her before stepping back a large step as the door began to open. Kay couldn’t help but feel a little relieved as Elliott walked in even though Xavier was still in the room. When Elliott saw Xavier in the room anger flared in him but he kept it off his face and out of his voice as he asked, “brother, what are you doing here?” Xavier forced a smile as he said, “I came to see if Kay needed any help packing. She has informed me she doesn’t though so I’ll be heading out now.” Elliott noticed Kay relax more as Xavier left and he wanted to know what had happened but simply said, “have a nice day then brother.” Xavier nodded and left.
When Elliott was sure Xavier was out of hearing range Elliott asked, “are you okay?” Kay forced a smile and said, “yes, why do you ask?” Elliott rubbed the back of his neck a little and said, “you seemed tense while Xavier was in here. I’m not sure what happened but you relaxed as he left. Has he been harassing you?” Kay was surprised when he asked her so directly and she wanted to tell him but she knew it probably wasn’t a good idea so, she stayed quiet. Elliott then said, “if you don’t tell me if he is or not, how am I supposed to know if I’m helping or not.”
