After breakfast, Lucas smiled and said, “before you leave, I would like to have a fight with Kay. I want to see if she has improved since our last match” Kay said, “I don’t mind so long as they don’t mind waiting.” Elliott agreed and Xavier reluctantly agreed. Kay smiled and said, “let’s go then.” She headed straight for the training area and to the weapons section.
Kay looked for the training sword she kept here to fight Lucas with but it wasn’t with the other weapons. Lucas smirked and said, “it’s over here I didn’t want the newbies thinking they could use it.” he pulled her training sword out of his cabinet and tossed it to her. Kay caught it, smiled and said, “thank you.” Lucas grabbed his sword while Kay tried to get used to the training sword again.
Once Lucas was ready the match began with his first attack there was no call to alert the start of the match just the attack. Kay moved quickly though and deflected the attack. Lucas smiled as he thought ‘she’s gotten faster.’ Kay smiled and came at him with her own attack as she was coming, she took apart her swords and slashed with one as a diversion then the second as her attack. Lucas dodged the first attack and blocked the second, but Kay then started to attack with the other sword forcing him back.
Lucas smiled and said, “so, you have improved. Now let’s see by how much.” Lucas pulled his swords apart and they began their attacks each one was blocked or dodged and a counterattack was thrown by the other. This went on for a while until Kay made a mistake and left an opening and Lucas took it. before she knew what happened he had one of his blades to her ribs. She stepped back and put her swords away as she said, “you win, so what do you want.”
Lucas smiled and said, “information and before you say anything I know the rules, the question has nothing to do with the kingdom you are in now or previous ones. I don’t care about that; my question is more about you.” Kay crossed her arms and said, “I should have known.”
