So, your actions tell me I can trust you even if you have to lie to me about some things.” He kissed her forehead and said, “So don’t worry so much okay.” He started to pull away and head back inside when she said, “Stay a little longer please.” He didn’t answer her just moved back to her and wrapped his arms around her again.
They both knew it was too dark for anyone to see them as they stood there but soon, they heard voices coming their way. Elliott pulled away and took her hand and her shoes before leading her away and around the corner. There was a bench there and he had her wait there as he turned them around. He recognized the two voices as Jack and Xavier, he didn’t want them near Kay. He moved back to the spot they were just at and waited for them to come to him.
When they reached him, he smiled and asked, “What are the two of you doing out here?” Xavier smiled a tight smile and said, “We’re just out for a walk. What about you brother.” Elliott shrugged and said, “Thought I’d come to look at the stars. Though your lantern is making that difficult.” Xavier said, “Really I figured you would have come out here because Kay was out here.” Elliott shrugged and said, “She was outside somewhere the last I saw her but I only saw her leave the ball not where she went after that.”
Xavier looked skeptical and said, “Interesting I figured you would know right where she was since you two have seemed closer since she was moved into your troop.” Elliott shrugged and said, “Considering she wasn’t in my troop before and I had no reason to interact with her that makes sense. However, now she is in my troop and she is my third in command and my advisor I would need to talk with her more. Aside from that I enjoy training with her, she makes for an excellent opponent and she is one of the few who have earned my trust. In any case, why are you asking about her? your engaged and she is not in your troop anymore and he was specifically told to stay away from her. Neither of you should be looking for her.” Xavier simply said, “We’re not looking for her I just figured she would be with you. Have a nice night brother.”
