Grayson reluctantly yelled and said, “stand down and take these men to be appropriately punished. Thank you for bringing them back to us.” Kay nodded slightly and said, “now that our business is concluded if you have nothing else for us, we should be going.” Grayson said, “I would like to extend my apologies for their behavior and my reaction so I would like to ask you to join us for our ball tonight.”
Kay looked at Lucas and Elliott for the answer they both nodded and Kay turned back and said, “we accept your apology and would love to join your ball, your highness.” Grayson smiled and said, “wonderful go with the maids they will show you to some rooms you may get ready in we have some clothes you may wear that they will bring you.” Kay nodded slightly and they followed the maids they were brought to rooms that were right next to one another for Lucas and Elliott but Kay’s room was a little further away and around a corner. After they got ready it was about time for the ball so they were escorted to the ballroom Lucas and Elliott had black tuxedos on. Kay was wearing a dark blue dress with her hair pulled back into the waterfall hairstyle again but this time she had star flowers cascading down her hair.
Elliott and Lucas, we’re waiting for her at the bottom of the stairs. when she got to the top of the stairs Elliott was surprised, he had seen her in a dress before and had thought she looked beautiful before but he was still amazed every time he saw her dress up. He went up to help her when he noticed she was a little unstable. When he got to her, he offered his arm to her, she took it and said, “thank you stairs are not my friend in these shoes.” He smiled and said, “don’t worry I’m sure one of us would have caught you if you fell. You look beautiful by the way.”
When he said that Kay missed the next step and stumbled, he caught her and asked, “are you okay?” Kay felt her cheeks warming up so she said, “yes, I’m fine just missed a step.” He relaxed and they finished heading down the stairs.
