Kay smiled and said, “I would recommend not restricting yourself. You will need all the help you can get.” The two men didn’t like what she had to say they thought she was being cocky. The men who had fought her before knew she was just trying to help them.
Kay moved to the ring with her personal training sword. It was specifically designed for her an her fighting style. The two men joined her in the ring and they began the match. Kay studied their movements as they attacked and she blocked everything they threw at her. Soon they attacked from two sides as they came at her though she pulled the two halves of her sword apart and blocked both of them and began her own attack.
She quickly hit one in the side of the neck which knocked him out of the fight. She then knocked the other one’s sword up and hit him in the gut as if she were stabbing him knocking him out of the fight. She then straightened up and put her swords back together and said, “you both are strong. Against someone else you might have won however you should never underestimate your opponent.” They nodded and headed back to their seats. Kay then looked at the men and asked, “who’s next?”
Everyone was impressed by how quickly she won the fight and wasn’t sure if they wanted to fight her. Elliott was watching his men and then asked a couple of them if they would like to try their luck. Unfortunately, they were the men who had fought her and they all said, “I have already been beaten by her. I will wait until I get a little stronger before I fight her again.” The ones who had never fought her took their turns and every one of them was beaten by her. After all of his men fought her, Elliott wanted to test her strength but didn’t want to fight her now, he wanted to wait until she was at full strength again.
So, he said, “okay if no one else wants to fight her today then we’ll move on to practice.” The men agreed but Kay wondered why Elliott didn’t fight her. The men got up and headed to do their normal drills while Kay went to get her bow and quiver to practice her archery.
