Elliott looked back to the entrance before saying, “Come in.” Dillon smiled and said, “Reading in this kind of light will hurt your eyes.” Elliott shrugged and said, “What do you want I was about to go to bed.” Dillon smiled and said, “Your light dimmed a little bit ago why are you still up then?” Elliott rubbed his eyes and said, “I got to thinking about what training would be easier on Kay for tomorrow. Everyone else can train like normal and you know she would want to as well but I don’t feel she should. Not yet anyway.”
Dillon nodded and said, “I can see why that would keep you up. How about we all just go for a ride and see how she’s doing that way?” Elliott nodded and said, “That sounds good. I don’t want her to push herself like last time though.” Dillon smiled and said, “We can keep an eye on her like last time. She will be fine.” Elliott nodded and said, “your right. What did you come to talk about anyway?” Dillon was serious as he asked, “How bad are your injuries? We all saw a little bit of them today so don’t try and say you don’t have any.”
Elliott shrugged and said, “They’re not that bad. Just some scratches and some bruising. They’ll be gone in a day or two.” Dillon then asked, “Have you been treating them?” Elliott showed him the ointment that was still on his desk and said, “They were recently treated. Don’t worry so much.” Dillon relaxed and asked, “Does she know you got hurt while saving her?” Elliott nodded and said, “she noticed when we were at that couple's house. I didn’t like the thought of leaving her alone with the woman but she told me she would stay awake until I came back from changing the woman was going to help her change. Kay fell while I was changing my shirt and I rushed in to check on her. She noticed my wounds and kept telling me to treat them before I treated her wounds until she passed back out.”
