She walked further in the cave and found her old drawling’s on the wall. As she looked at them, she could hear a commotion outside and went to investigate. As she slipped out of the waterfall, she saw a group of men had come up and surrounded Elliott and his troop. They were all on edge and she knew Elliott and the rest could handle the situation, but she recognized the leader of the group of men and then the men as she got closer. When Elliott and the rest noticed her, she smiled and put a finger to her lips and held her hand down telling them to stand down.
She then walked to the leader without the other group noticing. she then pulled her dagger out with its sheath still on it and put it to the leaders side and said, “Ben if you’re going to surround someone make sure you get them all and tell your men to put their weapons away this is the troop I’m currently in and the Prince I currently serve.” Ben was a man in his mid-forties with salt and pepper hair and grass green eyes. He smirked when he saw Kay beside him, she put her dagger up and he said, “I thought they checked everywhere, clearly not. We should catch up after this.” He then turned to his men and went to signal for them to put their swords away but they were already doing so when they saw Kay.
They all came up to Kay and started saying, “Long time no see. How have you been?” some of them patted her head and some said, “It’s official she’s going to be this short for the rest of her life.” Kay said, “Hay I may be short but I can still kick your ass.” The group laughed knowing it was true. Kay smiled and saw the confusion on the other’s faces, so Kay walked out of the group and over to Elliott and the others and said, “Elliott this is Ben he’s a friend and these are his men they’re all good people who are currently living near here.”
Ben walked up and said, “yeah sorry for surrounding you guys. We didn’t know who you were and not many come this way and you can’t be too careful.” Elliott agreed and Kay asked, “How is everyone in your camp doing? Do you guys need anything?”
