A few of the soldiers laughed at his surprise, Kay smiled and said, “yes, it’s nice to see you again Sir Nick how have you been?” Nick’s smile grew and he said, “I’ve been really well since the last time I saw you. How have you been? What have you been up too, and who are you traveling with today?” Kay kept her smile and said, “I’ve been good. I’m a soldier in Prince Elliott’s troop now, that’s actually who I’m traveling with. Him and his brother Xavier we have all come for the ball.”
Nick said, “oh, then I best not keep you any longer. You guys can go ahead and go in.” he turned and signaled for them to open the gates then turned back and said, “come to visit us again when you have more time.” Kay nodded and said, “I will try to come and visit more often.” Nick said, “enjoy the ball, Lady Kay.” Kay said, “thank you. Have a wonderful day.”
As they headed through the gate all the soldiers that recognized Kay, smiled and greeted her as they past. Kay smiled back and nodded happy to see them all surprising everyone she was traveling with as they went. When they made it to the castle Kay hesitated and said, “you guys should go in before me.” Elliott asked, “why? you’re a guest to so, why can’t we all just go in together?” Kay smiled a little and said, “just trust me it’s best this way.”
They didn’t argue and just headed in as Kay waited for them to be greeted properly before heading in. she could hear Lilly talking with them as she entered, Lilly had strawberry blonde hair like Lucas and had Jade green eyes she always were a mask that covered the upper half of her face all the princesses of the kingdom of serpents sanctuary did this way when they went into public they could go in peace because nobody knew what they looked like without the mask. as soon as Lilly saw Kay she squealed, ran over to Kay and hugged her as she said, “you made it. I was worried you wouldn’t get to come. How have you been? It’s been too long. You need to come more often.” Kay laughed and said, “Lilly calm down.” Lilly kissed Kay’s cheek and then Lucas came up and greeted Kay and kissed her cheek as well.
