I would also be able to help in making plans that could better serve the soldiers on the front line if I can see what they see. It would also be more beneficial to have more tacticians closer to the battle but that is just my opinion.”
Alexander nodded and said, “it makes since to me. What about you my dear.” Emma nodded and said, “she makes good points. I must ask you a question though. Is there any other reason you chose Elliott over Xavier as a commander?” Kay said, “I’m sorry did I misunderstand the original question? I thought I was to give you my opinion on whether I was more suited for the front lines or the rear does it matter who commands those areas. Even if they were swapped my skills are still suited best for the front lines.” Kay then thought ‘though if they were swapped, I would show my archery more than my sword fighting so I don’t have to have Xavier for a commander.
Emma relaxed and smiled as she thought Kay made the decision completely based on her skills and not on which prince was over that area. Little did she know it was the opposite and Kay had made herself look bad at archery so she could get away from Xavier. Alexander and Xavier were also happy with Kay’s answer but Elliott Began to wonder if it was a lie or not and whether or not Xavier had been making her feel uncomfortable or if it was his imagination. Elliott hid all he felt behind his smile and decided to ask her about it later.
After hearing from Kay Alexander and Emma decided it was best to move Kay to Elliott’s troops. Xavier was not happy with this decision and wanted to argue but didn’t have any reason she was better suited for his troops so he stayed quiet and they were all dismissed. Kay was informed that her room would also be moved so she was closer to the training grounds so, she left to pack up her things. Once she got to her room she began packing when she heard her door open. She looked up as Xavier came in with a creepy smile began to close the door and said, “I came to convince you to stay in my troop.”
