Lucas smiled and said, “it’s not like that’s the only thing I’ve asked about or for.” Kay rolled her eyes and said, “okay what do you want to know?” Lucas walked over and whispered in her ear, “so, how do you feel about Elliott?”
Kay looked at Lucas a little caught off guard then she glared at him and whispered back, “why are you asking me that. It’s not like it matters, I swear, what is with you three? Lilly and Alice asked me that this morning.” Lucas smiled and said, “based on your reaction I have my answer.” He laughed a little as he moved away quickly as she swung at him. Elliott, Xavier and Dillon were surprised as they watched her, but the part that surprised them more was that the guards did nothing to stop her in fact they laughed a little and some cheered for her. Kay shook her head and said, “you wasted a question on a pointless question.”
Lucas shrugged and said, “that varies based on who you are. For you it’s pointless, but for me its vary useful information.” They walked back to the others as he said that. Elliott, Dillon and Xavier were curious to know what Lucas asked Kay, but Elliott and Dillon knew Kay would only tell them if they beat her in a match. they also knew that wasn’t going to happen any time soon. Xavier on the other hand asked, “Prince Lucas, may I ask what the question you asked her was.”
Lucas said, “sorry that is between me and Kay.” Lucas didn’t tell Xavier about the challenges because he didn’t want Xavier challenging Kay in archery when he knew she was hiding how good she was from Xavier, and Lucas didn’t want Xavier to know what he asked. Lucas then added, “and if anyone tries to order her to tell them then she will leave the kingdom instead of telling them. she’s done it before.” they all looked at Kay who just shrugged and said, “they were warned before I left not to push me when they did not listen, I left.” Xavier wasn’t happy about what Lucas and Kay said as he looked at them, he then asked, “are we ready to go now or is there something else we need to wait on?”
