Though for others it would be quite boring so I’ll save that for myself.” Lucas turned to Kay but looked a little past her at Elliott for a second before looking at Kay and saying, “sorry I guess I caused more chaos for you than I intended too.” Kay smiled and said, “it’s fine at least it was interesting and you cleared it up.”
Lucas smiled then and said, “Lilly and Alice will get a kick out of this though. Oh, that reminds me.” He then turned to Alexander and Emma and said, “I was supposed to give a few invites to the royal family for Lilly’s and Alice’s ball I was sent with two one for each of the princes. They can also bring a date and a guard. We are aware the kingdom can’t be left by the royal family so we opted for this instead. We understand if anyone can’t make it just let us know in advance.” He passed the invites to the guard who passed them to Emma, she thanked him and he turned to Kay and said, “if either of them brings you they can bring an extra guard because I plan on dancing with you, Alice, and Lilly that night. So, you might as well wear a dress or Alice and Lilly will make you change and if you are off that night and they don’t take you come anyway your name is already on the guest list. Lilly and Alice really wanted to make sure you could come.” Kay smiled and said, “thank you, and tell them I said thank you as well.” Lucas smiled at Alexander and Emma and said, “well that concludes my business here unless you have anything else for me.”
They said, “no we don’t. Thank you for the invitations.” Lucas said, “thank you for having me then and would it be alright if Kay was the one to escort me out so we can talk just a little longer it’s been a while since we’ve seen each other.” Emma agreed then Lucas turned to Elliott and said, “you should come to Prince Elliott, you can tell me how well she’s doing here.” Lucas offered his arm to Kay and she took it without thinking. For her, it was normal when it came to Lucas but to those around them, it just made them think Kay and Lucas were dating in secret.
