Kay pinched the bridge of her nose and sighed tiredly. Lucas said, “if I didn’t run off, I might not have gotten to see you.” Kay just looked at him for a second and asked the others “can you give us a minute?”
they nodded and Elliott called the escorts back as well, the escorts and the attendants faced away as Elliott watched as Kay seemed to be scolding Lucas after she seemed to be done Lucas smiled and they talked for a minute before he kissed her cheek, Elliott didn’t like seeing Lucas kiss Kay but he hid his feelings as they walked over to the others. When they got there, Kay said, “let me know if he gives you any more trouble.” Lucas smiled and said, “you could always join us and keep an eye on me if you want.” Kay shook her head and said, “I have to practice and you have business here. I can’t just follow you around. Now stay with your attendance. Okay!” Lucas smiled and said, “fine I’ll stay with them this time but you need to at least come to visit sometime. It would be fun.”
Kay relaxed a little and smiled at him and said, “we’ll see next time I get some free time okay.” He smiled bigger and said, “yes Lilly and Alice will be so happy to hear that.” Kay said, “tell them I said hi, and if I find out you ran off again, I’ll write them myself and they can get you when you get home.” He flinched again and said, “you wouldn’t dare.” Kay smirked and said, “try me and see.”
He grimaced for a second and said, “fine you have my word I won’t run off again.” Kay said, “good now go finish what you came here to do.” Lucas smiled and said, “fine have a nice day little Kay see you another time.” After they left Kay felt drained, she was glad to see Lucas again but she always felt drained after talking with him. Elliott brought her out of her thoughts when he asked, “are you okay?”
Kay smiled at him and said, “yeah, I’m fine. Why do you ask?” Elliott shrugged and said, “you just seem a little tired is all.” Kay shrugged and said, “I get that way sometimes when I talk to Lucas.” Elliott looked at her and without thinking, he asked, “what’s your relationship with prince Lucas?”
