Kyle and Dillon came up shortly after and Dillon said, “Sorry he got passed, Jace.” They took the man from Kay and Kyle said, “That was great reaction timing Kay. It was a good thing you were here.” Kay asked, “You said he got passed Jace, is he okay?” Dillon said, “he will be fine just got his side a little but it was enough to get passed.” Kay nodded and Kyle picked up the Knife and said, “It almost looked like you were dancing the way your dress moved with you but we can talk more later we should get him out of here.”
Kay nodded and said, “luckily, we were on flat ground if we were on the stairs, I probably wouldn’t have been much help. Stairs are not my friends in these shoes. Thank you for taking him.” They both laughed a little and nodded before leaving, Kay turned back to Lucas, Elliott, and Grayson and asked, “Is everyone alright?” they all nodded once so Kay nodded slightly in response before walking back over to Grayson and saying, “we should stop holding you up and let you go talk to King Alexander and Queen Emma though it is always nice to see you King Grayson.” The people around them were shocked that Kay defeated the man so easily but Lucas, Elliott, and Grayson were not shocked at all. They knew Kay was an excellent fighter.
They walked back to where Alice, Lilly, and Nicole were waiting. Grayson watched as the girls came over and hugged Kay and he smiled and thought, ‘so she is held in high regard in the three Kingdoms. She really is something else.’ He watched them for a little longer. He saw Lucas treating Kay like one of his sisters and assumed he was the one to see her as a sister and wondered how Elliott saw her. when he got over to Alexander and Emma, he greeted them and they smiled and Alexander said, “glad you could make it but I’m surprised you would come here and leave your kingdom.”
Grayson said, “yes well, I was going to try and talk Kay into marrying my son. Unfortunately, she is still opposed to the ideal. Though I still think she would make an excellent Queen, if any of the princes were to win her heart before she is married to who her parents have chosen for her.”
