They headed out about an hour before dawn. when they left the forest and entered the starry plains Kingdom it was almost morning. As they looked around, they realized it was time for the star flower to bloom. the flower was a dark blue flower that was shaped like an orchid that gradually lightened toward the center. So, as the moon shined down on the due drops that had landed on the petals of the flowers it looked like the plains were covered in a starry blanket.
When they got to the castle the guard on duty saw Kay and had them open the gate, the prince of the starry plains had been alerted by some guards who were on patrol around the border that Kay had come to the kingdom with Prince Lucas and Prince Elliott. The prince’s name is Jack he had light brown hair and aqua-blue eyes. When the gate opened, he rode out to meet them, when Kay saw him, she immediately said, “crap I had hoped he wasn’t here today.” Lucas and Elliott were a little confused but didn’t have time to ask before Jack was within hearing range. By that point though they didn’t need to ask because Jack immediately said, “what a lovely surprise. Lady Kay, I was beginning to wonder if you were ever going to come back to visit. I’m so glad I was here to welcome you.”
Kay gave him a polite smile and said, “hello Prince Jack, I’m actually here to return a couple of your men and I would like to discuss with King Grayson about an issue they were pulled into that could have ended worse than it did. So, if you don’t mind, we really need to continue on our way.” Jack smiled and said, “is that so, allow me to escort you then I hope they weren’t too much trouble. I would hate to know my men cause someone as beautiful as you trouble.” Jack had completely ignored Lucas and Elliott by this point and had been focusing solely on Kay. She then said, “they did cause an inconvenience for Prince Elliott and Prince Lucas for which I do not appreciate but I would rather talk to King Grayson about it in greater detail.”
