Elliott nodded and Lucas led him to the next room and said, “I figured you would worry about her so I had your room set up here you’ll still have a couple of guards so no sneaking over to see her but this way you’re closer just in case.”
Elliott rolled his eyes when Lucas told him not to sneak over to Kay’s room like he had any intention to do that but he was glad to, be closer to Kay in case she needed him. Elliott thanked Lucas before they said goodnight and Lucas headed off to his room while Elliott went into his room and got ready for bed. When he lay down, he relaxed knowing Kay was just next-door and he could help her if she needed help, and with him being in the next room there were now four guards that could protect Kay if needed. He fell asleep quickly after that. The next morning when Kay woke up, she found the girls in bed with her and she smiled at each of them happy to know they were both safe.
When Kay got up the other girls woke up and hugged her and said, “we’re so, glad you’re okay.” Kay smiled at them and said, “I’m glad you two are safe as well.” Lilly then asked, “so, that Prince, that helped you, do you like him?” Kay smiled and said, “Prince Elliott, is nice it’s hard for anyone to dislike him.” Alice said, “you know full well that’s not what she meant. Do you love him?”
Kay flinched and her smile faltered as she said, “it doesn’t matter I’ve been lying to him about who I really am for quite some time now even if I told him he would never forgive me and his parents would never agree for us to be together add in that I’m engaged. I mean I know it’s an arranged marriage but still.” Lilly said, “we can help with the marriage thing you know that but the rest is up to you to figure out.” Kay smiled and said, “thanks you guys but I’m pretty sure he only sees me as a soldier, and after last night probably not even a good soldier.” Alice walked up to her and said, “you’ll never know unless you try.” Kay smiled and said, “stop worrying about my life and get ready for breakfast.”
