Dillon was surprised but the girls were more concerned the noise had caught them off guard but it didn’t surprise them that he had done it.
Lucas took a deep breath and sat down on the couch he blamed himself for not walking with her even though he knew Elliott and his troop were with her. He still blamed himself thinking that maybe this wouldn’t have happened if he had but he knew it was unlikely anything would be different. As he turned back, he saw Elliott’s hand was red as well. Lucas didn’t say anything as he sat down on the couch, when nobody was paying attention, he got Elliott’s attention and pointed at his hand without asking out loud. Elliott pointed to the small hole in the wall near his chair, Lucas was surprised Elliott had the same outburst as him when he seemed so calm sitting there but now that Lucas was paying even the slightest bit of attention, he could tell Elliott was furious and was just barely holding it together.
They all waited with Kay hoping she would wake up soon. The girls fell asleep next to Kay as they waited and soon after that the rest of the troop came in and froze for a second when Kyle said, “We lost track of them sir but there were two sets of footprints leading away from her window so we can say for sure there were two of them.” Anger ran through Elliott and Lucas at the same time and Elliott’s troop could feel it. Elliott then asked, “Did you figure out who it was?” His voice was dangerously low and Kyle said, “All we know is that the trail ended at the castle.”
Their anger flared again as they tried to get ahold of it, they looked at each other without a word. They silently agreed that if Kay confirmed who they thought it was, they would either beat them within an inch of their lives or kill them on the spot depending on how mad they were when they got ahold of them. By morning Kay finally woke up but she was groggy for a minute and had a splitting headache. She looked around and found she wasn’t in her room and Lucas, Elliott, The Girls, and half the Troop were all with her.
