When they got there Lee smiled at them and said, “Glad to see you both are up and about. How are you feeling young lady? You seemed to be in pretty bad shape last night.”
Kay smiled gently and said, “Better today still a little out of it but at least I can stay awake. May I ask who you both are? I’m afraid I’ve only caught your name sir.” Lee smiled and said, “I am reverend Lee and this is my wife Penny. We are both glad you are feeling better. We were worried about you two.” Penny then looked at Elliott and asked, “Did you treat your wounds last night?” Elliott simply said, “They were treated this morning after I was sure she was okay.”
Penny laughed a little and said, “So she made you treat them after she woke up then. That’s good even minor injuries can turn major if you don’t treat them.” Elliott rolled his eyes a little and shook his head with a small smile as he noticed Kay trying not to laugh at how right Penny was. Kay then thought about what Lee had said and asked, “You said you were reverend Lee correct?” Lee smiled and said, “Yes, you might recognize my name I am the reverend who will be marrying Princess Kaycee to Prince Xavier. Though if I’m being honest I don’t like the thought of marrying those two. Princess Kaycee doesn’t love him that much is clear for a lot of us. She’s doing this for her sisters and her kingdom.” Kay was surprised and asked, “How do you know?”
Kay wasn’t surprised by Kaycee’s reasons Kay had known that since the engagement but she thought it was a well-kept secret. Lee then asked, “How else would you explain our Princess who gave up the crown marrying a prince she’s never even met and becoming the Queen of another Kingdom?” Kay thought to herself ‘except she has met him and nobody knows she then said, “She could have changed her mind on being Queen.” Lee and Penny laughed a little and Lee said, “Prince Lucas would give her the crown back in a heartbeat if he thought that’s what she wanted.” Kay nodded and said, “I guess I never thought about it that way.”
