Kay said, “thank you for telling me that Elliott.” He smiled and said, “anytime, and if you need a boost of confidence know you can always challenge me to fight with swords.”
She laughed a little and he went into the bathroom to change. She felt better after talking with him but still felt she needed to get better so he didn’t need to save her. Lucas came in not long after Elliott went to the bathroom, he could see Kay felt better and said, “I see you two talked things out.” Kay smiled and said, “Thank you for telling him this time.” He caught her underlined meaning and smiled before saying, “I can’t guarantee we won’t have another conversation about you.”
Kay shook her head but before she could say anything more Elliott came out and they went to breakfast. Lucas and Elliott had Kay sit between them to keep Jack from sitting with her. Jade sat next to Elliott; she didn’t like to see he was with Kay especially after seeing them leave the ball together last night. Kay was aware of Jade sitting next to Elliott but Elliott didn’t notice. After breakfast, they took their leave saying goodbye to Grayson but not Jack or jade.
