Lucas, Alice, and Lilly walked them out. Alice and Lilly stayed with Kay and they talked on the way, Lucas talked with Elliott as they walked, and Xavier was annoyed by the presents of everyone except Kay and that Kay was giving her attention to others and not to just him. When they got to the carriage Alice, Lilly, and Lucas each hugged Kay and kissed her cheek before she got on her horse, they then wished everyone a safe trip. Kay enjoyed seeing them and couldn’t wait to visit again. The rest of the group was still surprised by the way Kay was treated in this kingdom and wondered who she was. When Kay got on her horse, they began their trip back to King’s pass.
As they left the castle and headed for the border of the kingdom on the other side of a forest they were attacked. A couple of men jumped down from the trees and landed on the carriage they knocked the horse man off and took over the carriage. Kay moved quickly and had just got beside the carriage when they threw the horse man off, she caught him and made him take the rains as she jumped to the carriage. She caught hold of the carriages roof and pulled herself up. Once on the roof she was met by a man who decided to fight her and she used his attack to throw him off the carriage.
When she got to the front of the carriage, she recognized the man as Jace, he had blonde hair and Sky-blue eyes, he was also a soldier for a general she worked for at one time. He took one look at Kay and pulled the rains as he said, “nope, I was not aware of you being involved in this. I surrender.” When the carriage stopped Kay was angry as she grabbed his shirt and dragged Jace off the carriage, she looked around as Xavier’s bodyguard took Jace. Kay then picked up a rock as Elliott and Xavier got out of the carriage. She then threw the rock into the trees to their left.
They all heard the sound of the rock hitting metal, then Kay said, “General Cole, come out I know you’re there.” A man with jet-black hair and icy blue eyes stepped out of the tree line in armor. Kay crossed her arms as he came closer and said, “Kay my dear, why are you always so cold to me.”
