I think she would be happier here.” Lucas smiled and said, “is that right. Let me ask you then, do you think she can fight you? I am pretty sure she can fight Xavier but you I’m not so sure.” Elliott shrugged and said, “she’s already beat me. I’m sure she could do it again.” Lucas shook his head and asked, “could you bring yourself to fight her in a real fight not a practice fight?” Elliott flinched as he realized he couldn’t fight her not for real.
Lucas then added, “remember if she chooses to side with us then if you capture her, she will be treated as a traitor and probably executed.” Elliott flinched again he hadn’t thought about that. He then thought ‘if that happens, I will get her out of there no matter what it costs me.’ Lucas then said, “don’t think too much on it now. we don’t even know what your parents will decide yet.” Elliott nodded but knew they were probably not going to be happy about any of it.
They arrived at the castle then and Lucas put Kay's mask back on her before carrying her in and up the stairs Elliott waited downstairs for him to come back. When Lucas came back, he said, “I have the doctor checking her out now when she’s done the maids will help her change and take down her hair for her to sleep more comfortably. A guard will also be placed outside her door for the night to make sure nobody disturbs her.” Elliott nodded and they headed back into the ball Lucas had Elliott follow him as Lucas led him to where his family was waiting. They were all hiding their worries but Elliott saw them all relax a little when they saw Lucas. When they reached them Lilly and Alice came up to Lucas and he said, “she’s fine she’s asleep right now but I have the doctor checking on her just in case.”
They relaxed further and saw Elliott behind Lucas with Dillon and Lilly said, “thank you both for helping Alice and Kay.” Elliott gave the same response he gave Lucas though only Victor and Gale believed him. Lucas, Lilly, and Alice stayed quiet as they looked at each other, Dillon knew that Elliott would never leave one of his soldiers to fight alone but at the same time he saw the look in Elliott’s eyes when they found Alice but not Kay.
