When Elliott was done, he laid her down and covered her up before sitting in the chair next to the bed he then said, “go get Lucas.” Dillon started to argue but stopped when he saw how mad Elliott was. Dillon left quickly after Elliott turned back to Kay. Elliott moved a strand of hair that fell in her face away as he sat beside her waiting for Lucas to get there. As Lucas followed Dillon with Alice, Nicole, and Lilly behind him he saw Kay’s door open and clearly broken.
Lucas froze for a second and asked, “Where is she?” realizing this had something to do with Kay. The girls caught on quickly and asked, “Is she okay?” Dillon said, “She’s this way.” He led them past her room and to Elliott’s room, when they entered, they saw Kay passed out on Elliott’s bed and the girls ran to her.
Anger flared in Lucas as he asked, “What happened?” Elliott said, “All we know for sure is she was attacked in her room. We broke down the door to get in when she didn’t answer and saw signs of the fight, a syringe on the floor, the window was open, and found she had locked herself in the bathroom. We broke down that door when she still wouldn’t respond to us calling to her. She was passed out leaning against the far wall when we got in. I moved her here and had Dillon go get you after that.” Lucas was trying to keep control of his anger as he thought, ‘I’ll kill him for this.’ Elliott then said, “I know what you’re thinking but we don’t know for sure who attacked her we should wait and see what she knows or until my men find the person or people responsible.” Lucas glared at him and said, “You know as well as I do who did this.”
Lucas’s anger was clear in his voice as he spoke. Elliott’s anger matched his as he said, “If you attack him without proof, you will start a war. Sit down and wait for now let’s see what Kay knows.” Lucas punched the wall close to him, he knew Elliott was right and he hated it because that meant for now the person responsible was going to get away. Elliott didn’t react to Lucas punching the wall unlike everyone else in the room who flinched for different reasons.
