Elliott and his troop flinched a little but nobody noticed as they watched Grayson say, “Well that’s unfortunate.”
Kay laughed a little and Grayson smiled happy to hear her laugh he was fond of Kay and saw her as a part of his family even though she had no relation to him. He said bye to Kay and all the girls but ignored Elliott and Lucas. When Jack tried to approach Kay, Lucas and Elliott moved right behind her protectively. Jack backed down and Jade was a little angry that they were both hanging around Kay and ignoring her. They left before Lucas and the girls who said bye once more before leaving.
After everyone was gone, they headed back to the Barracks to pack for their woods training. Kyle asked, “So what will you do when you get married?” Kay forced a smile and said, “I would rather not think about that right now if you don’t mind.” Kyle nodded and said, “I understand.” Elliott then said, “I’m going to let the guards know about your doors.” Then left without another word.
He didn’t want to think about her getting married in a month. he thought he would have more time to tell her how he felt but now he knew he was running out of time. Kay packed her bags and got ready to leave when Elliott knocked on the wall as he leaned on the door frame Kay looked up at him and he asked, “Are you almost ready?” she nodded he said, “Good, someone should be here later to fix the doors for you while we’re gone. So, you should have new doors by the time we get back.” She smiled and said, “Thank you, for everything.”
He knew she was talking about everything that happened last night up until now so he smiled and said, “No need to say thank you we are always happy to help.” But Kay could see he was a bit upset about something and wanted to know what it was but before she could ask Dillon came to the door and asked, “Are you guys ready yet? We’ve been waiting to see who would win for a while now come on.” Elliott and Kay laughed a little and Elliott said, “Okay I just need to pack a few things and we can head out.”
