Elliott and Lucas stayed on either side of Kay; Jack walked over to Grayson’s side still upset that he didn’t get to talk to Kay as much as he wanted to. When they stopped Grayson said, “Kay, it’s always a pleasure to see you though it would have been better if you didn’t bring that boy with you. He’s always running off from his attendants and causing trouble. Though I don’t believe I have met the other boy you’ve brought with you.” Kay smiled and said, “this is Prince Elliott. I am currently a soldier in his army. As for Prince Lucas, he will behave himself on this trip. Right, Prince Lucas.” Kay gave him a tight smile and Lucas smiled and said, “of course little Kay.” Grayson then said, “Kay dear why are you bringing two Prince’s to me are they wanting to be suitors for Princess Jade?”
Kay didn’t like the thought of Jade and Elliott dating but she shook herself mentally and said, “if that is what they want that is their business and something they can do on another day. We have come to return some of your men. Though general Cole will be in serpent’s sanctuary for a little longer we have brought back his men.” As she said that some of Lucas’s guards brought the men forward and Grayson asked, “why are they bound, what happened?” Grayson wasn’t happy as he said, “you can’t just bring my men to me like this arrest them.” Kay stepped forward and said, “try to touch either of them before you hear our explanation and I will defend them.” The soldiers faltered for a second so kay took the opportunity to say, “they were ordered by General Cole to attack the carriage of the two Prince’s of king’s pass as we were heading home. We were still in serpent’s sanctuary when they attacked us. According to, General Cole, they were just trying to stop the carriage so he could talk to me but he still attacked us in Prince Lucas’s kingdom. By all rights, we should have imprisoned them but we are returning most of them out of respect for you.”
Grayson said, “what about General Cole then?” Lucas smiled and said, “he will stay with me for now. He was the one who gave the orders and I don’t like that he harassed Kay while she was a guest in my Kingdom at that.”
