Kay smiled and greeted Him and then she noticed Alice was not with them.
Kay got worried and asked, “where is Alice?” both Lilly and Lucas went quiet, Kay looked at them and said, “guys where is Alice? Is she okay?” Lilly quickly said, “she’s fine but Nicole is sick.” Kay understood then and looked up at the stairs where Alice’s room was. She then smiled and said, “I’ll take care of it.”
Kay then looked at the others and said, “I’ll see you guys at the party.” Lilly said, “no Kay, we invited you as a guest. We want you to enjoy the party.” Kay smiled at her and said, “I came to see all of you. How can I enjoy the party without Alice.” Lilly looked down and said, “yeah but.” Kay cut her off and said, “we can still have fun at the ball don’t worry it will be fine.”
Kay then walked past them and headed for the stairs. One of the guards were new and started to stop her when the other guard stopped him by saying, “welcome Lady Kay, are you heading to see Princess Alice. She is still in the same room as always.” Kay smiled at him for the help and said, “thank you” as she walked past them and headed to Alice’s room. Everyone in the group except Lilly and Lucas were shocked as Kay was allowed to just walk upstairs without a guard escort.
Lucas said, “well since Kay will fix that problem the ball shouldn’t have any more problems at least not yet.” Lilly said, “yeah but I wanted her to just enjoy the party we could have figured something out.” Lucas smiled and said, “we both knew she would do that as soon as she found out Nicole was sick.” Lilly said, “I know but still, she didn’t have to.” Lucas said, “she knows that.”
Lilly shook her head and turned back to Elliott and the rest of the group and said, “sorry about that. If you’ll follow one of the maids, they will take you to the ballroom.” Elliott glanced at the last place he saw Kay go before heading to the ballroom. Lilly saw him and was surprised and curious about what he thought about Kay.
