She used the boxes and the horse as steppingstones to get to a limb and swung up into the tree’s and was gone seconds after she landed on the branch. The rest of the troop were struggling to process what just happened when a member of Bens team dropped down from the trees. His name is Jerry, he had blond hair and sky-blue eyes.
Jerry walked over to Elliott and said, “don’t worry about her Ben is following her. we came to see how the training was going. We heard your argument and when she took off Ben followed along with a couple others from our team.” Elliott asked, “will he be able to keep up with her like that?” Jerry smiled and said, “Anyone who is a guard of any sort was trained to run through the trees in serpent sanctuary. Actually it’s because of her and Prince Lucas that we had to learn that. They learned to do it to escape there guard’s and escorts. She will be fine they will keep an eye on her and ensure no harm comes to her.” Elliott didn’t know if he could trust them or not but he knew Kay did so he decided to trust them as well. he nodded and walked to his tent taking one last glance where he last saw her go.
Whether or not she was with someone he was still worried. When he got to his tent he started to work on some strategies he would go over with the others later. Dillon came in and asked, “why were you going to send me? We all know you were the one who wanted to go with her.” Elliott didn’t look up at him as he said, “I have work to do. If you only came in here to mess with me leave I don’t have the time for it.” Dillon smirked and said, “didn’t even deny it this time, interesting. So, what happened last night between you and Kay.”
Elliott looked up at him then and said, “nothing of interest, why do you ask?” Dillon crossed his arms and said, “that’s bull shit, there is no way nothing happened. You have been more relaxed aside from worrying about her injuries.” Elliott asked, “what are you talking about now?” Dillon looked at him and asked, “did you talk to her about her engagement?”
