Lilly signed deeply before closing her eyes. She and her father decided to look through the rubble of their old house. Lilly signed some more before stopping.

Reaching her hands down further and pulling out a dog collar that said "miles if found return to lilly" due to the collar having special characters for lilly to tell what it said. eyes filled with tears as she tried to stop sniffling. Megatron instantly by her side as Kyle sat next to her looking at the collar before becoming teary eyed.

"Oh lilly, I miss him too!"

"Miss who?" Megatron asked looking between Kyle and lilly. "Miles he was our dog. He was purebred white samoyed. We named Miles because he could run for miles on end when we first got him it was on my birthday and I just turned 4! I was so happy because he was mine!" Lilly said crying as she remembered the first time they got him.

(Flashback)

(Now remember this takes place to the time when lilly could see so this is different because it's flashback)

"Lilly! Lilly come here!" The sound of her dad called out to his little girl as her little feet could be heard on the floor as she ran down to the living room stopping in front of her dad. "I'm here! I'm here!" Lilly smiled deeply looking at her father and mother who smiled with love for their little girl. "We have a big surprise for you! Close your eyes" lilly nodded eagerly closing her eyes as she held her hands out as something soft yet squirmy was placed in her arms something wet licked her face as she giggled before opening her eyes and gasping loudly. Seeing a pure white puppy samoyed. Lilly began to cry! Her eyes light up with tears of happiness. "Thank you mommy; thank you daddy! Lilly smiled hugging her new puppy tightly before placing the collar on him and opening the door after putting on her boots and coat and hat along with her gloves as it was December 25 Christmas day. Lilly birthday. She was now 4 years old.

Time had passed and lilly had become blind. She still had miles who now resigestered as a seeing eye dog and a dog of support. Miles would be her eyes as she would go on walks with him. Time was coming to end for them as lilly heart tugged hard she made her way back home. Kyle smiled at the two. It was late in the evening and lilly sat next to miles hugging him tightly. Before falling asleep next to him. It was around 3am when lilly woke up her senses told her something was wrong. She moved to feel miles her old boy and realized he wasn't breathing. Her breath hitched in her throat as she stopped she began to call for her father. "papa! Papa! Please it's miles! Papa!!!!" Kyle jumped up from the bed and rushed into the living room before stopping seeing his daughter holding miles crying her eyes out her sobs couldn't be stopped as she hugged him closer. Kyle had to pull lilly away as she screamed "please please! No I can't leave him! He's gonna be ok! He's gonna be ok! I need to be here to take him walks and give him snacks! Please daddy please!" She sobbed through hard breaths her voice cracking. Kyle didn't say anything as he brought her into his embrace holding her close her cries melted into him as he began to cry with her. "Lilly I'm sorry he's gone" those words the words she didn't want to hear but knew it was true the painful words of loss she couldn't bare. The years she had with him. 14 years with him. He was her best friend and she couldn't breath or think her mind went blank. She moved back to lay next to her dog as Kyle got a blanket and picked miles up with the upmost love and care before putting him in his truck lilly climbing into the front seat as they took him to get cremated lilly keeping his collar and ashes. He was her dog. The day they got home they both shed more tears. Lilly didn't want another dog so soon because miles was hers miles the energetic puppy who could run. Who protected her at the slightles inconceivable moments.

(Back to the time now)

Lilly had began crying while holding the collar "his ashes! Where are his ashes where's his ashes!"

"They're right here and safe spoke Ralph as he found the bag seemly unharmed like an angel protected it. Ralph handed it over to lilly as she felt the bag inside were the ashes of miles. She hugged Ralph and started crying again. Ralph smiled and hugged her back before smiling in her direction. "He loved you, I bet she beside he's not gone anymore we'll put him up in the base protected so you can always feel his presence with you! I'm sure Optimus would be ok with that! If not I'll beat him!" Ralph stated laughing as lilly laughed with him she handed the bag to Megatron who placed it in his chest compartment to keep it safe as he transformed into a jet lilly climbed in as Ralph climbed in next to her. "Let's go home, lilly, Ralph?" Megatron spoke as both nodded. "Thank you Ralph I really appreciate that you care so much about me"

"You're my friend and you always see the good in people even when I was mean to you and Megatron has become a big ally to us. You are the most amazing person I have ever met."

"That's my fiance for you! She's beautiful and kind!"

Lilly blushed at the praise before climbing out hugging the bag to her tightly as she walked back into the base Megatron and the others followed suit.

"Lilly what do you have there?" Optimus asked concerned as to why lilly was holding a collar and a bag so close to her afraid if she let go it'll be gone forever.

"That's her dog! Miles! He died a long time ago! On September 8th 14 years ago. Lilly missed him so much. And if you don't let her keep the ashes here I'll smack you!"

"Yeah us too!" Miko stated! Not understanding but being the supportive friend she could be. Jack also agreeing.

"I wouldn't expect anything less, he was your friend correct. I heard how animals are best friends for people and dogs are the best kind to have?"

Lilly nodded as optimus cleared a space and made a quick sign "ok lilly this place right here as he helped her as she felt the smooth corner table on the wall. "It says, miles spot only" Optimus read to her as lilly placed the ashes and collar on the table smiling gently and thanking Optimus as Megatron took her from him and both just sat together lilly not saying anything and Megatron knowing she needed it. She might not see but he knew the collar was fresh in her mind. The red and blue with sliver coins on them and a little heart. Megatron never experienced loss but with lilly he knew her heart ached more. Nothing can replace the friend she had for years. Nothing could. And Megatron was ok with that because he would always be there for lilly to comfort her.

(So this was a sad chapter! I honestly wasn't going to write this because of the pain I know is being felt right now; but I also needed to create this chapter to our dog who died and the millions of furbabies lost so to those who had a lost fur friend/family member I am so sorry for your loss and this chapter is for you to remember the good times you had and that no matter what your best fur friend is always with you in your heart and soul. Our dog was 12 years old when he passed away in my brother in law arms. That night we all spent hugging each other and crying because the love was so deep and was the pain.

Remember animals are the best thing on this planet is having a fur friend because they love deeply and know how much they are loved.

So rip Dasher our sweet loving yellow lab who begged for treats; barked at high pitched frenquencies; decided to run off and give us goofy smiles. Showed us so much love and happiness. We miss you so much buddy. This chapter was for you! We love and miss you!
