Profile

After having created a Neobook account you can set up and fill your profile page to help other users learn more about you.

To set up go to the page Account settings and fill the general fields:

• User name - a name to identify account. It is shown in the link to your profile and is used in tags in comments. User name is unique and cannot be the same for two different users. User name is written in latin alphabet and can contain digits and some symbols.
• Name and surname - your real name and surname or your pseudonym if you are familiar to the readers in such a way.
• Website or social media page - enter a link to your website or a page in a different social media.
• Tell something about yourself - add a description to your profile to help other users learn more about you. For example, the genres you like, your hobbies, how long do you usually write or something else.
• Profile picture - add a profile picture to make it more personal and recognazable for other users.

Don't forget to save all changes by pressing the button Save.

You can add, change or remove your profile picture anytime.

To set a profile picture via website:

• Go to the page Account settings;
• Under the circle with initials or photo press Change photo;
• Select a photo on your device and press Upload;
• You can regulate the scale of a photo to place a needed area inside the circle. Also you can regulate the visible area moving the slider up/down or to the left/to the right;
• Save changes by pressing Save in the lower part of the page.

To remove profile picture via website

• Go to the page Account settings;
• Under the circle with initials or photo press Remove photo;
• Save changes by pressing Save in the lower part of the page.

Your profile page is a place where you can see the content you post, basic information about you and the number of your Followers and Following.

To get to your profile page:

• Press the button in the top right corner;
• In the drop-down meny pick the title My page.

On your profile page you can see all your content including unpublished content.

Unpublished content can be found in the section Drafts. The Drafts section is visible only to you and is not shown to other users.

Published content can be found in the section All and in sections Books, Poetry, Blog depending on publication type.

You can manage your content on your profile page.

To manage one specific publication:

• Press the button in the right side of post card;
• Select the action you want from the menu: Boost, Edit, Copy link, Delete.

All paid services are paid with Neobook internal currency - NEO coins.

You can spend NEO coins to promote your content, purchase paid books, gifts for creators or other paid services.

To purchase NEO coins via website:

• Press on the profile icon in the top right side of the page and in the drop-down menu press Purchase;
• Choose coin package you want to buy and press Purchase;
• Select a payment method, enter your payment data and follow the instruction on the screen.

To see the amount of NEO coins on your balance:

• Click on the profile icon in the top right side of the page;
• In the drop-down menu below the username you can see the number of available coins.

In case of an error when purchasing coins or if after a successful payment the number of coins remains the same, please report to Support Team.

On Neobook you can follow to other people, publications and news from interesting people.

Posts from people you follow will be shown in your Feed .

To follow a user:

• Go to user profile;
• Press Follow under username.

You can also unfollow a user anytime.

To unfollow a user:

• Go to user profile;
• On the right side of the page click on the icon and choose Unfollow.

The number of your followers and following is shown on your profile page under username.

To see the followers or following list:

• Go to your profile page or other user page;
• Under user name click on the number next to Followers or Following.

If for some reason you want to delete your Neobook account, you can do it anytime.

Be aware that after deleting an account you won't be able to use platform's features.

To delete an account via website:

• Go to the page Account settings;
• In the lower part of the page press Delete page.

A deleted account can be restored within 6 months from the date of deletion, with content published earlier being restored as well.

To restore an account via website:

• Log in to a deleted account;
• Go to Account settings;
• In the lower part of the page press Restore page.

An account cannot be restored in the following cases:

• Account was banned due to violations of Neobook Terms of Service, Content Guidelines or Community Guidelines;
• Account was deleted more than 6 months ago.
