This is an erotic horror story about a New York female psychiatrist named Dr. Mercy Ingold who attempts to treat what appears to be a mentally disturbed young female patient named Lola. At first Dr. Ingold believes her young patient may be having psychotic episodes, but soon discovers that because of some inexplicable contagion she herself is menaced by the very same symptoms while simultaneously suffering an abusive relationship with an alcoholic cop she sees no future with. Mercy starts to suffer an infestation of erotic dreams, hallucinations, and night visitations that lead to madness compelling her to journey to contemporary Romania in search of the mythic, only to find herself ironically, and horribly, in the shadowy hands of vampires as she is transformed from a pragmatic and reasoning doctor into a willing and sacrificial victim.
The narrative involves a sadomasochistic lesbian slut - fest, and psychological thriller about the struggle between Mercy’s survival mechanism and her desire for dissolution characterized by the taboo that forbids, and the opposing fascination that compels ultimately seducing our protagonist into a cultish surreal nether world of obsessive perversion, and a symphonic horror adventure of fetishy rituals, love, and dark eroticism.
In the end ”Dragool” is an Alice in Wonderland Magic Carpet Ride of torrid submission, dark terror, and compulsions leading to a cursed eclipse of Mercy Ingold’s soul and a miraculous transformation.
