Set in rural Australia this story is a multi genre crime/thriller/romance/horror follows the story of Nettie Lachman. Nettie has recently moved back to her hometown of Cronana (a fictionalised setting based on rural Australia). Having seemingly settled back into a new routine it isn’t long before gruesome events pull Nettie back into a life she wanted to leave behind.
Whilst dealing with the trauma of her new life starting to fall apart before it has really began Nettie is also thrown back in time by the arrival of her first school yard crush. Will passions ignite despite a new looming danger or will it all be too much with Nettie forced to leave and start a new life all over again.
