Hi, so I never done something like this before, but I would really love to bring the comunity a bit closer togheter. So I was thinking of hosting a collaberation, that everyone can join. This collab may be diffrent then lot’s of other collaberations since all entries are stand alone entries. No swears in this paragraph! :) Ik i usually say a lot of swears but I wanna better myself. I love writing, I love reading But I am just so bad at it. I’ve read stories I wrote in middle school, I stumbled upon them on our old family laptop. Guess what? I STILL WRITE EXACTLY THE SAME? HOW’S THAT POSSIBLE??? And the same thing goes with art, I am just not improving and it’s frustrating me so much. The only thing I did that, where I improved was editing amv’s or edits, during corona I’d just spend sometimes up to six hours in alight motion editing clips making transitions etc. I EVEN CAME UP WITH MY OWN! and I had a Instagram profile where I did tutorials, this was such a different era. But then around 2022 I just stopped i got so burned out. I tried again a month ago for old times sake. And to no one’s surprise I can’t even do that anymore. I understand that the point of doing something isn’t to be the best at it but rather to have fun. However I just want to succeed at something too, I am living in the shadows of my non-existent potential and it’s trying me... I just want to be good at something too...

After over 8 weeks of reading, I’ve finally finished proofreading my 755 page first draft!!!! That is approximately 175k words and 4 pounds of printer paper! And now I’m moving onto re-outlining my book so I can begin writing draft 2. I have so many ideas and so many things that I want to change and improve that instead of making hundreds of revisions I’ve decided to completely redraft my book, hopefully starting by the second week of June (so I have time to extensively outline my new and improved plot lines and finish up the school year)! I’m so excited to take you guys along the ride of writing my first ever second draft of anything and I hope you guys have a wonderful rest of your day!! 💗

I can’t for the life of me understand people who use AI to write for them on the base reason of it’s easier? Like really? What’s the point of that? I would never use AI to help me write because it won’t be able to capture what I see in my mind’s eye, how I envision the threads of a story to go, or even how to properly characterise the characters. Even if AI is capable of replicating another author’s style— which is just sickening and blatant theft— it won’t be mine. It won’t feel authentic, and it won’t be what I wanted at all. The beauty of creating, whether it’s making art or writing, is the fact it is something that is solely mine. It’s my blood, sweat and tears that went into every word on the page; a piece of me in every character, be it a trait, a quirk or a flaw; heck even the flaws are what make it mine. The settings, and the themes, and the plot lines, all of it, I thought of and put into this story. Not because some generative AI scanned the internet and amalgamated ‘the perfect story’ but because I myself chose— whether subconsciously or intentionally— to include those aspects. It’s mine, in every sentence structure to every turn of phrase, and every line of dialogue, and every description— and it’s not something I could download overnight. No, it took me months upon years of craft, research, editing and drafting, and it is still a work in progress, and it won’t ever be perfect but it will always be mine. Every part of it, every step of it, it takes more than a well-worded prompt, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

I found him a few hours ago, unresponsive and drained in blood next to the road. What’s painful is that he usually doesn’t like going outside, and he’s a really scared cat. You make the slightest noise and that boy would hide in between the cupboards. He lives at my parents house because I couldn’t bring him with me to college, they let him out more often to go and catch some mice. (we have a small farm) and this is how my summer vacation starts. He meant the world to me and seeing him like that a few hours ago made my blood drain from my body and it was as if my heart stopped beating for a second. What the fuck am i supposed to do now.

At uni we’re all adults so why can’t we act like it? One of my modules is group work but I’m doing all the work. There’s 3 of us, and the other girl hardly turns up to any of her classes - then why bother paying £9k a year to attend? We have to write a 1000 word essay by Friday this week, then create a video essay for May. It’s just so shit. And I’m Autistic so I struggle with social interaction but I’m trying my best and they won’t cooperate.

So I’ve been working on my WIP And usually books have a theme but I'm so sure if I’m doing it right. I wrote it because I wanted to write a found family trope. And I’m happy with what I have so far. However I’m not sure if I’m getting the theme right Can my theme be ”people around you can influence you in good or bad ways” And the messages ”people may influence you but you still shape yourself by the decision you make?” I’m not really sure if I want to go with it but writing so far all my characters influence each other. They leave there traces to each other. And personally I think it’s very true to the real world that people around you make you who you are, what you adapted from them (example some traits from your parents) it can be both good and bad traits. But now I’m thinking it’s a bit underwhelming Also on another side I’ve finally found a title, it may not be final I’m still thinking about it --- Sorry for any grammatical mistakes or missed words in this paragraph I tried fixing them put they keep appearing (maybe it's just my phone)

Hi guys, so idk why but I just can’t catch a break. Today at my training, I ripped a muscle on my back and I’ve been unable to move for a few hours, my back is killing me, walking hurts and sitting too, I can’t even lay down without feeling as if someone where to stab me in the back. So I’m really uncomfortable and I’m unable to sleep due to the excruciating pain. Believed it or not, This isn’t the first time this happend. And worst of all there isn’t much I can do, I need to rest for 3 days now until the muscles ”relaxes” And what's even worse IT’S WEEKEND, so I can’t even enjoy my free days, smh should have ripped my back on Monday but NO I just had to do it today 🤦
