My mind decided to create a new OC tonight, but I’m having trouble deciding his last name. For some background info, his first name is Jack and he belongs to the Adler Legacy universe. Although he doesn’t appear in the book, he’s relevant to Jameson’s backstory, as he is the Ace of Hearts that works for the House. He is a part-time bartender, full-time flirt and has a soft spot for poisons; he creates all sorts of poisonous concoctions for the House’s use. From acids that can dissolve blood and flesh, to poisons that can make a man choke on his own salvia. He is the King of Hearts biological son, and doesn’t have much power or influence within the House itself— mainly he is used as a spy and occasional assassin. Is a bit insecure about his position especially growing up with the orphans who later rose into powerful ranks, leaving him behind. Now the question is, should his last name be Ashley or Hook?

You know when people say villains aren’t born, they’re made— I agree with this, and that’s why I like the hero more than the villain, because even when they’re surrounded by suffering and spite, by the very same circumstances that turned another character evil, they chose to be different. The hero chooses to break the cycle and be more than a product of their circumstances. They choose to fight, to try to make their life better, and the lives of those around them. Even in the end, they choose to sacrifice themself, or something they love— or even someone they love— to save the world. It’s not easy, nor is it fair, but the hero is brave enough to make the change, something the villain could never do. The villain would burn the world for you, but the hero would make it a better place for you.

What’s a sentence from a movie/book/videogame etc that is still stuck in your head?

Is there a certain sentence or maybe poem perhapse a quote, from any media that sometimes consumes up your entire brain, that is , so beautiful and meaningful?. I have quite a few but the first one that comes to mind is ”and the universe said I love you because you are love” many of you who have played minecraft will recognize this , l it appears in the end credits after you slayed the enderdragon. another one is also from a video game ”after all it’s still you” this one is from undertale, to be honest I never really played it but I came across this quote on instagram a few years ago and not gonna lie sometimes I randomly remember it and it sends a shiver down my spine. What poem is still stuck in your head
